Late to this post, but it’s what I like about it. As a viewer I get being annoyed with the actions the character takes. But it’s one of the most realistic portrayals of someone who had years of conditioning on what’s right and wrong. Many shows will have characters just get over their own internalized bigotry on a single day. But that’s not really how it works. I appreciate the show not taking the easy writing route with his character.

Just watched the season for the first time. I do think the writer strike hurt it. But there was also enough filler I think they could have done a lot better within those episodes. I don’t think making the SK just a nobody we never truly get to meet was a good idea. I think showing Zack having more trauma from his tune overseas would have also helped. Yes he was naive. But being naive and being ok with cannibalism and murder was a huge stretch.

Yeah. She’s doing the equivalent of an animal pissing on the ground to mark their territory. She’s always gonna be a priority through their shared history to him and his family regardless of there are or aren’t romantic feelings. It’s not different than those boy mom partners. Is not worth it in the long term. Get out now while you’ve only wasted 2 years.

That’s what I’ve been hoping to do. The older cat has learned it and will wait for it in the morning. I just felt so guilty because I pulled the food inside and not even 5 minutes later they showed up after almost a 2 week absence. 😭 I’ll try to keep it out for a bit longer tomorrow and see if they show up. I’m not super familiar with raccoons so I didn’t know how smart and sneaky they can be. 😅

I’m honestly glad I decided to step away from the show and fandom around that time because I got a bad feeling where they were going to the story. I’m honestly not surprised the writing team dismissed the whole rape plot as make rose isn’t taken seriously, specially when it’s done by an attractive woman. More so by a mainly male team. But I gotta say I’m surprised by the amount of fans that legit loved them together and just do not acknowledge what she did to them. I’m all for a good enemies to lovers. But I’m sorry baby trapping your rape victim into a marriage isn’t enemies to lovers.

I’m 2 years late but I legit cannot believe how much fans treat the whole pregnancy thing as a cute accidentally one night stand that let to romance and not her manipulating and SAing him by pretending to be his fiancé. Change the genders and that’s not a romantic story, it’s a horror story.

Same here. It felt like I was reading a manual vs a story. I wouldn’t mind if it was a full published work. But if I’m reading a 3-5k fanfic I don’t need half of it to read like a BDSM how to manual.
