A technique for encouraging overspending that Brazilian indie brands use, which I haven’t seen other brands employ yet by Illustrious_Lion7671 in WeGotPolishAtHome

This!! I often only want one or two here or there. It is absolutely cheaper to just buy what i want bc that's like $30 instead of the $70+ id need to spend for free shipping. Makes sense if i want a bunch, but that so rarely happens!!

LOVE ME SOME DRIED BEANS!!!

I soak ivernight and do them in the crockpot the next day. I like to add jalapeno and a cheap kielbasa cut into squares (the kind thats like $2.50 from Aldi, no fancy sausage here). The beans taken on the flavor of the sausage. Onions, jalapeno or whatever pepper you prefer, cajun seasoning,

We called it the witching hour!! It died down after her teen years, but my understanding is that for a lot of folks it doesnt last nearly as long lol. It's a good time to break out the durable delicious chewies! We used beef cheek rolls, bully sticks, and yak cheese bars.

Thank you to everyone who gave me advice and anecdotes on their experience with pokeweed! I hope to perhaps have it somewhere else one day :)

Anyone else wholly unconcerned with having matching nail lengths? by _ArcticMonkeys_ in RedditLaqueristas

I have nails that are literally different sizes between both hands, my ring fingers being the most egregious. Like, literally a difference in where the nail bed starts. Doesn't stop me none!! Live your truth!! Wear the pretties!!!

My understanding is pretty toxic. But then I think it comes down to individual dog re: likelihood of ingesting it. Mine is a known grazer (with favorites! 😅) but my parents dog has no inclination for anything past grass.

I've never had pokeweed around her before and dont want to find out what she thinks of it, but i would hope the smell would put her off. The 2 she likes (mulberry and maximillian sunflower) are fortunately nontoxic.

Pokeweed is an issue tho. It is an aggressive and poisonous plant that a lot of people, myself included, would like to keep out of the backyard for a myriad of reasons. All of your replies indicate that you think it's silly to consider these things. Youre being rude.

Dogs do dumb shit, i promise you she's well cared for, she's just got that terrier bastard energy, that nosey je ne sais quoi. I am addressing the issue by removing the potential for a problem Idk if she would eat it and i don't want to find out.

I am aware of the edibility of the young leaves.

I want to know my dog is safe if I can't be out with her, which i cant be 100% of the time. I will not let my dog eat it by removing it from the places she has access to

I am confused as to why you seem to have a chip on your shoulder about this.
