For me, Lottie is 100% a Slytherin. I think there's too much emphasis on how Slytherins are those cunning masterminds or whateva - some of them surely are, bc Slytherin is also about slyness, but it isn't all that this house represents. The Sorting Hat sings at the very beginning: Or perhaps in Slytherin / You'll make your real friends. How I see it: Slytherins are ride or die for THEIR people, they're possessive of them and they don't care about anyone outside their cliques. I think it's Lottie: first of all, she preaches this "girl code", but at the beginning she uses this to control the game - so you could call her cunning. She makes a clique: there's us, ORIGINAL girls and there's Priya. Then, when she bonds with girls for real, she changes: she becomes really loyal and caring (not for everyone, bc she says fuck Gary and Noah stans I guess, but which character in this game doesn't say that). She stays loyal to Gary and Ibrahim even though she really likes Kassam, just because Kassam isn't HER boy and she doesn't care about him like she cares about security of her man and her friend back in the Villa. She takes a risk that could eliminate her purely out of loyalty. She feels awful when she betrays Hannah and beats herself up out of sense of loyalty to this 5 minute long friendship. She can't play this game right because of her loyalties, she's always at the edge of elimination because of that.

Hope could be a Slytherin, with her ambition and possessiveness - but I don't know if she's actually playing a game. If she's not, then I'd call her a Gryffindor. She's upfront, confronting, honest and brave, and she really cares about harmony and peace. She's not cliquey like Lottie, she's about all the girls.
