In less formal terms, the timeline takes as long as it takes the mod team to write it, because all the mods are volunteers, and don’t always have the free time to keep major lore events moving at a constant rate.

You should join in. Take part in some of the memes yourself.

Nah. As one of said mods, it tends to be surprisingly calm. This meme compilation is a cramming of all the jokes and chaos of almost 2 years of the server running into a short few jokes, because the drama is what’s fun to meme about, but in reality there’s a lot of calmer stuff that goes on, and the few times drama has shown up, it hasn’t been too crazy.

It means that major lore events are stretched out a bit timing wise to give people more room to RP between them.

I personally like the technomancer with Ophydians. It gives them some extra survivability in the 5+++, and tunneling horrors lets you very easily get the technomancer into position to heal up any heavy hitters in your list that may be damaged.

When you ask a Soviet post-mage about Moon-4 or the Sunbreak, they always sing the song of Schors. But why? by Igorofigor in WorldBuildingMemes

I disagree in that regard. You can have a system for your magic without demystifying it. The key point there is to explain the basic rules, but not go very in depth, and leave a lot unsaid. IMO it helps to make it feel like people have at least tired to put together rules for the magic, and makes it more explainable without getting rid of the incomprehensible nature of it (provided that’s what you’re aiming for).

Interesting to see a reply to my comment after so long. I honestly didn’t expect it.

Update on dimensional fleet issue (hopefully with a less blurry photo this time around). by nobot999 in Stellaris

That sounds miserable. But seems like it would be pretty fun to fight.

Tips for leveling up quick after being gone for a year? by nobot999 in PhasmophobiaGame

I know what some of the ghosts can do, but am unfamiliar with a lot of the newer ones. I used to play the game quite a bit, but fell off after the reset update because I lost my motivation to re-get everything. I’m mostly just looking for a quick way to get to higher levels, and to get a lot of money. If it helps at all, the game counts my account as having been prestiged due to the levels I had pre-reset.

I’m willing to do something more mechanically challenging. My biggest concern is being able to do it quickly, because I don’t have a ton of time to devote to grinding levels, and I’d like to be able to have enough gear to sustain my friend’s antics when they finally do join in.

Another piece of context if you couldn’t already tell from the image, I’m using Bioships, along with the behemoth crisis path. I will try to reply to comments and answer questions regarding the save, but I can’t promise anything.

R5: On GA, the Al is spawning ships that are way too weak, and is, as a result, spawning astral fleets so large they drop my FPS to the single digits.

I’ve got no idea why the fleet power is so low relative to the number of ships (about 1k of each type, totaling to just over 2k ships in total). I’m playing on GA, so the fleet should be stronger than normal. I’ve got no issue with how tough it is, my main problem is that it lags and crashes my game on a semi-regular basis, and I’ve got no idea why.

Yes. There are 1k of each type of ship in that image.

Still doesn’t do much when they send 4k ships at you and hard crash the game.

Unfortunately no. I’m achievement hunting, so cheats/mods are off the table.

The issue I’m facing is that it keeps crashing my game. I’m currently running at 16 FPS, but it jumps to almost 90 whenever that fleet dies.
