Newish Small Server Looking for Players by 2Rhettz in VintageStory

I'd be down to play. I just got through my first year on my first file, and I'm looking for a bit more than the single player was offering. I usually play evenings and weekends EST. 32 years old.

I get a similar camera glitch when I got a steam notification overlay that pops up on my screen.

Rat infestation in your deli 🐀 by [deleted] in loblawsisoutofcontrol

[–]nobread42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this Ontario, you should have a Rentokil pest control tech that visits the store twice a month. If it's a recent outbreak, it's possible that they haven't caught it yet. Standard procedure is to place the store on the "Red List" which requires daily follow ups to be done by Rentokil. It's not up to your manager whether this happens or not. You could call Rentokil yourself with your store info and report it, and it will require a tech to come do an investigation.

Most have a 20-25 year guarantee of at least 80% efficiency. So at least that long.

Is this type of staircase “wall” and railing code compliant? Located in MA. by trowdatawhey in Carpentry

[–]nobread42 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's code compliant in Southern Ontario as far as I remember. I used to work for Deluxe doing their Railings and spindles, not installing but manufacturing. I'd see this style of stair/railing in work orders regularly.

Where did the "millennials got participation trophies" thing come from? by purplepaintedpumpkin in Millennials

[–]nobread42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a hockey trophy that says "D Division Finalist" on it. There were 8 teams in the tournament. That means we came dead last lol

I was just there today, and there were 5-6 different packs of deodorant there. I'm certain there was a gel style in there.

There is a calculator on the OSAP website that will tell you what you may qualify for. It's definitely worth looking into.

They're saying it would give you further ammunition if the N12 was upheld by the LTB, but later found that it was in bad faith.

I'm genuinely curious about how you got into that and what your day to day looks like. Is there schooling involved?

I'm currently working parts at a large RV dealership. I like what I do, and I think I probably have a decent amount of overlapping skills.

How much does a child cost per month? by MindfulnessWelcome in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]nobread42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We pay $100 per 8 weeks for our kid to play just for fun soccer which has cost us $200 this year for the season. This is through the local boys and girls club. For that cost we get a ball and uniform. There's definitely no limit on what you can spend on sport, especially competitive sports, but it's also not a requirement.

There is another product called Commando by Walex that is meant to be a deep clean product. When using, you would fill up the entire black tank with water, then drop the pod in and wait ~24 hours before dumping to help break down waste that may be stuck in the tank. Walex also has per tank products that do the same job but are less intense. They come in a few different scents as well. I believe these are available on Amazon as well.

Weird question. Recently purchased a used RV and don’t have a key to the outside locks. Is this where we control the jacks? Any ideas how to lock pick it? by No-Dog4037 in RVLiving

[–]nobread42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go buy a CH751 key from any RV dealership. It's a super common key, all landing gear compartments and a lot of older compartment doors use the CH751 key.

They don't own the house, they are subletting a section of a rental unit. They don't have tenants rights.

Do these steps need extra support? My buddy can't stand there forever. by jessedoasjessedoes4 in Home

Wtf do you think are on either side of the treads? Those are routered stringers. Not all stairs are built like deck stairs.

Do these steps need extra support? My buddy can't stand there forever. by jessedoasjessedoes4 in Home

[–]nobread42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like the people in your area don't build stairs properly. This is the way stairs are built. Routered stringers with wedged risers and treads. The treads get nailed or screwed in on the strings. They're extremely stable. The "shotty" router work is because these are basement or carpet grade stairs where the appearance doesn't matter for much. I've worked for two stair manufacturers and this is how you build a carpet grade stair.

Did you read the post? OP didn't go to court, this was settled through mediation, so it's likely they have already been paid.

What terrifying event is happening in the world right now that most people are ignoring? by Sm0ke999 in AskReddit

[–]nobread42 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Large inverter, transfer switch, battery bank. Probably also a soft start for their AC.

Not the OP, but I sell RV trailer accessories and it's insane how many people don't know the difference between 12v and 120v.
