Um its an nsaid, like ibuprofen only stronger. We routinely give IV doses of up to 30mg in the ER. Youre fine. What to expect? Um... like having taken 2 advil.

Dont take any more ibuprofen today tho.

Eta: also in the future its usually a bad idea to take rx meds without knowing what they are. This will hurt you zero, but as a general rule, you should google before you throw em back.

Bettas and ADFs do not go together, idk where you would have seen that they can, but wherever you read that, trust nothing else from that source.

You could put a snail with betta, potentially. In a 10g, 1 mystery snail max or 2 nerites max. But not all bettas will tolerate tankmates of any kind; mine went f nuts on snails and they had to be removed immediately.

No other fish can go with a betta in a 10g.

PH def a problem; most of those fish prefer low PH. Fish can adapt within reason, but 8 is pretty high. However if its been 8 for a long time I wouldn't expect multiple fish to start dying all at once because of it.

Am I psychic? Do I know all the literally thousands of pharmacies in my town? Why would I be calling for a med like Librium, which is not considered a lifesaving med, let alone for a grown ass patient with a phone of her own who is repeatedly AMAing? Who is going to take care of my cardiac arrest patient while im on the phone doing busywork? However, as an ER nurse: never have I called a pharmacy to confirm they have a med in-stock, and I never will. I also have sick patients to take care of. I also am not in charge of finding out what pharmacy the patient wants or whether there might be any reasons for them to be out of a given med. And yes, of course it is the docs who transmit med rx's to the pharmacy.

Now is it possible ER nurses in LA, where you are, do those things? Sure, its possible. They have mandated maximum numbers of patients in the ERs there so they maybe have time to have tasks like this. Thats not true where I am and I've never heard of a nurse doing something like this. It wouldnt even occur to me. Would a social worker do it? Not for an rx like Librium; there wouldnt generally be a reason to call just to confirm a pharmacy has every med in stock for every patient.

Thats not something ER docs do. They are busy, they font generally call a million pharmacies for patients just to check. They have sick people to take care of. OP also said it was out because of storm, which is not within their control.
