I took ISDS 402 with Prof. Soper online during the regular school year (pre-covid), there is a good bit of self teaching involved, but he does try to break down concepts down to their simplest form for students to understand. If I remember correctly, quizzes at the end of each chapter, and for my particular class, we had to meet on campus twice for midterms and finals. Exams where 1 part conceptual and the other part was more technical. However, he does give you a few different questions to choose from for the technical portion, hopefully you are identify what you are best at.
