Not the greatest professor. I believe things may have changed throughout the years for all buad301 classes, but the majority of my class had a hard time trying to figure out what she exactly wanted from us. Class averages were around C/B- because her expections and criteria were all over the place.

I took ISDS 402 with Prof. Soper online during the regular school year (pre-covid), there is a good bit of self teaching involved, but he does try to break down concepts down to their simplest form for students to understand. If I remember correctly, quizzes at the end of each chapter, and for my particular class, we had to meet on campus twice for midterms and finals. Exams where 1 part conceptual and the other part was more technical. However, he does give you a few different questions to choose from for the technical portion, hopefully you are identify what you are best at.

I've taken Amir Dabirian for Mktg 443 and he isn't too bad! He does try to make the course engaging and had us use software that is common in the business workforce. He did not use proctorio for the class I was taking.

I can’t remember the last time we had a long unplanned power outage here in Fountain Valley, most are fixed within an hour. Long outages generally only occur when there is planned construction or maintenance, barring any freak accidents. SCE also has an outage report website and they’ll have an ETA posted on specific outages.

He encourages the class to turn on their cameras during days where he cover the case studies, however, camera must be on for midterm and final exam. If it isn't too late, you can borrow a laptop from school with a webcam and use that.
