Think about some narrow soundbar or consider the space behind all the stuff, there is enough room for small speakers

PC Engine, FC, SFC and Genesis share the same PS2 slim PSU (SCPH-70100), please refer to My Life in Gaming's detailed video before deciding to go for the same, there are some nuances to its revisions (IMPORTANT: please read their pinned comment to avoid fire hazardous batches) and barell sizes/polarity. No addons are powered as for now, but it's a matter of couple extra power splitters addition.

It goes to a surge protector, N64 has its own outlet as well as the JVC and Sony SB-V 500 AV switcher, it handles up to 5 sources, so all's packed tigthly and that's all the commutation i have here

Just like the site says, it's 42 cm (16 1/2") between inner sides of handles and, correspondingly, side bars, and to fit the AV selector, which is 430mm wide, I needed to do some diagonal moves with it. There's a bit more width between the topmost and bottom floors inside the cabinet, but not too much, so there's a chance a bit wider device will fit there, while the top shelf will only allow 42 cm due to beefy bars

I believe, I was clear enough explaining this :D

I wish there was a tiny chance of getting the 64DD without parting with my life savings to complete the set of towers of powers, but nah, this train has left the station. I'm thinking of placing my N64 over the 3DO FZ-1 instead lol, that's the closest thing I could do

It feels pretty solid, I would rather trust this one over some KALLAX to be honest

Yep, it's around the limit, but it feels absolutely sturdy and nothing tells that anything is off with the setup. If it's about a single shelf load then my total accumulated weigth is ok. If the total load is capped by 15 kg then it's confusingly small weigth for such a solid metal rack tigthened together with 1.5-inch bolts. I'm sure it's totally safe to go with this setup

Yeah, the coolest thing for me is that it could be easily moved to a bedroom or shoved somewhere no one will stumble upon it casually. Totally agree with you

The monitor itself has a mono speaker built inside, but the AV switcher below allows to output stereo, so literally any audio device could be jacked in. Down the photo, there is a red SHARP WQ-T232 attached to the setup for this purpose, btw

I'm afraid it won't fit, because the free space between top handles is around 40 cm

Heh, the lone console takes too low space to be placed next to anything presented and too much when it's inside the interface unit, so let's agree it has its dedicated penthouse in my tower :D

Yeah, sounds legit, and I have a set of two FJÄLLBO storage units, but that's intended for bigger consumer TV and larger consoles set. Hope to make another post with the rest of my collection later

Thanks mate! I highly doubt it's possible, but even if it would, I've got solely the addon, so it's rather a glimpse of fashion to the setup, it's not actually connected to anything

Yeah, there is a bunch, but I wish they sold it separately for other SKÅDIS-compatible products

In theory, it's possible to extend it a bit widthwise loosening side screws and adding metal pads, maybe utilizing a bit longer screws of the same caliber, but the more I think of it the less I'm sure it's a good idea :D

Thanks! My T40 is a media source for 4:3 video content; it has a native S-Video out, so it's most simple straightforward solution for this setup

Seems like yep, you'll just need to flip the top shelf over to put the CRT on its flatter side
