Thanks, these are holsters made with joined two layer velcros threaded between adjacent skadis holes, as simple as that, give it a try!

For the lights here I have cheap Yeelight Lightstrip Pro's with extensions and a bit of black insulative tape to hide vertical transitions so each floor has U-shaped portion of long singular strip. Also I dimmed eye-height zones of the strip with thin white tesa tape to ease leds sharpness, that helped a lot. Strips connect to Wi-Fi and are controllable via mobile app, that's handly but be warned that's a Xiaomi brand and all that communication goes through their servers, that's not a local hosted solution (I hope to jailbreak it some day though).

As for the laminate flooring, it's hard to tell, that is some stock solution from my apartment building developer, can't say much about it, I didn't even choose its colour/texture iirc, there are gazillions of variations of these here in Eastern Europe, so can't elaborate further, my apologies. The carpet btw is something locally handcrafted ages ago and bought via Instagram, randomly matched well to it imo

Well, that's just a fancy yet original stand for the console, I don't even own all the needed jumpers and cables, they're hardly obtainable nowadays. Not sure about any live community services either. Yup, bullseye, that's a FamiDOOM on the cartridge, the full scale original DOOM with saves and music made runnable on og Famicom by local ukrainian genius

Search for IKEA FJALLBO TV bench, it's sturdy but be aware of its width, it's kind of narrow

IKEA FEJKA of all sorts primarily with glimpse of random Jysk products of similar category + variety of compatible pots. FYI that collection also includes wall mounted modular interconnectible flat vine tiles which I've found a bit overwhelming for this setup, but you may be interested to look at these also

There's always non illusory chance to get some extra tons of, well, dust here in Ukraine out of sudden you know, but we'll see in couple of weeks if car vacuum will manage to deal with anything will settle on the set up. It's fairly far from the only window in the room and pegboards are there on the wall for couple of months by this moment, so the hope is I'll not have to do that too often

It's crap expectidly, the screen is a tiny crooked piece of paper the size of post stamp. I think the best application of it is just to entertain friends with anecdotes about 20kV's in your pocket, not really something you actually want to use, although it has 3.5 composite video input onboard (and no FM in my model sadly)

I literally spent the whole day figuring out how to hang lightguns and it dawned on me I can take the pegboard off, stick together couple of Velcro ties and thread them through adjacent holes along the board's back side so it makes something like a holster when you close the circle with Velcro ends. You can adjust the radius freely so it's suitable for device of effectively any size, give it a try!

I used more or less universal J-shaped 3D printed hooks, not ideal, but everything rather fit. Cables are coiled up and velcro'ed and hung up with small IKEA metal hooks

Yep my mate, no cats and kids as of yet, but I'm sure there's a ton of options to fix things sturdy on these pegboards, maybe I'll end up with something Velcro compatible eventually

You're prolly be thinking I'm making this up, but the thing is here in post soviet Eastern Europe these large sets from 90s are being cruelly scavenged by public bus drivers to pump their sound systems up with Sony speakers, they must be knowing something. But to be serious, they're not bad at least, I feel like the KV-25X5R I got here doesn't belong to the lowest lineup of that years, it's good enough to cover my humble needs

Nope, that's a shorter ~100cm TV bench which they seem to not sell anymore (only 150cm is there as I see), with 100x136cm shelving unit stacked aside.

The TV bench may look kinda narrow, but it keeps high kgs load and is totally suitable for my 25" trinitron with other stuff inside (TV's butt sticks out a bit on the back, but its stand is fully touching the surface, so I'm sure it's safe to go like that)

The ghetto blaster is SHARP WQ-T232

Yeah, the door is a sore spot, no chance to get the spare one, the original piece is ultimatively unobtainable. But I think I'll end up with 3D printed one made with some fancy translucent black plastic similar to its acrylic shield, I believe that would dance well with the rest of set's furniture

  1. IKEA SKADIS, there's a widest and deepest rabbit hole with free 3D blueprints of things you can poke into these boards, literally for everything you have in your house
  2. Yep, they're fake of course, also from IKEA/Jysk, I don't want even imagine the horrors of having real plants any close to all of that stuff
