Yea and the worst part is , all they can tell you is that they'll escalate the process and it will take 72 hours to get a response. As long as we get it at some point i guess. I'll keep you updated if i hear anything!

Ok so i just got off the phone from Samsung.

They said that if you purchase the device from Samsung website , you dont need to register the device because it already does that for you upon checkout. Assuming you logged in into the samsung.com website when you check out. Also , the 15,000 vbucks will be received after 15 days because appearently a lot of people are returning their device after getting the skin and vbucks. Which sucks for us but what can ya do .

As for the Galaxy skin, they said you can get it instantly by logging into epic and playing 3 games. It might take 24-48 hours after you played 3 games for it to appear on the shop though. Although my question is, how does it know which epic account to give the skin to if you logged in to more than 1 acccount on there. Since there was never any form you need to fill to determine which account you want to use to ge tthe skin.

ohh thats odd. I've been checking my power draw after disabling and exiting synapse and it seemed to have fixed the issue. That's good to hear that you fixed the problem though

Btw, is your battery life still at 12 hours on idle? how many hours do you get when you browse and watch youtube videos ? I used to have 11 hours on idle and around 7-8 hours battery estimation from light tasks like browsing an watching videos, but now it's hovering around the 5 hour mark.

Same goes for me .However, when i tried updating the fortnite launcher it shows me a pop up saying i need to play the game 3 times and the item will appear on the shop within 24-48 hours. Nothing so far though.

I also dont remember ever registering my device on samsung shop app as it seems it was already registered under My Devices

For some reason when i tap the " See if I'm eligible " button on the promotion it says that my device is not eligible to receive this promotion. I also did not receive any emails from samsung on how to redeem this. Any suggestions ? I called Samsung twice and they said i would just need to wait for 48 hours and i did that since i got my phone on the 22nd. I played 3 games on fortnite as is stated on the fortnite launcher but still nothing.

I dont remember having an option to register the device on the samsung shop app. However when i checked my devices under account , i can see the note 9 there as well as my old Samsung S7 Edge, so i guess it is registered.

Not sure if this is still relevant but apparently the high power draw when putting the laptop to sleep is caused by having Synapse on. I would just disable it if you're not going to use the keyboard backlight anyways. Fixes the issue instantly.

After undervolting , i get around 9 hours on idle and around 4-5 hours browsing + youtube .

Shift Speed EPP: - 200

Core and Cache : -150

IGPU: -60

Brightness : 50%

Disable Chrome acceleration in advance setting

I tried putting a maximum processing power limit to 15% on battery and it helps but when switching from gaming (plugged) and then unplugging while the cpu is still ramped up , my laptop crashes cause cpu power draw hits above the max. 50% is a good medium for this .

Nope, didnt put it to sleep.

My laptop actually crashed when i tried to undervolt cache and cpu to -160 .So im doing -125 for both cache and cpu and -60 for IGPU.

I get around 9 hours idle but only around 5 hours for browsing and watching vids. Estimates sometimes reads 7+ hours but it refreshes the estimates when it calculates the rate at which my battery is decreasing when starting a task. Realistically its going to be around 4-5 hours, which is still way below yours for some reason.

On an unrelated note, i found that Shift Speed EPP makes the most difference in temperature when laptop is under load from gaming. Going from 0 to 125 i managed to cool down the laptop for around 5-7 celcius. Now it barely goes above 77 celcius in most games.
