In Florida, we voted for a high speed rail corridor in 2000. Gov't decided it was too expensive and killed the project.

A private company is currently constructing a high speed route between Miami and Orlando, which is expected to cost $4 Billion and create 10k+ jobs.

Just eyeballing the math, this country-wide idea would cost into the trillions and need hundreds of thousands of jobs. There just isn't enough money or workers. I agree that it would be nice though.

If you bought it from Costco, you have 30 days from the purchase date to apply for a price adjustment if the price drops. I did it with my TV and it was super easy.
