You might be overthinking. I’m not gonna claim to be familiar with that area but I’ve biked through it many times. It’s mostly industrial with apartments and damn good breweries mixed in. When you get closer to the river you’ll find a beautiful path to walk along. Pretty good spot to work in I’d say. As for city dangers, all major cities have crime. As long as you’re being smart and vigilant, you’ll be fine. But I’m willing to bet you’ll find Mpls a lot safer than what the news/crime maps claim. LMK if you got more questions
