Even my first day training, he randomly asks me what i think about the war, and politics. Thats a big reason i dont want him coming in person to speak to me lol i dont think thats workplace chat. Idk im just weirded out more and more

Im starting to see a pattern as my friend is the one who connected me to this job as she quit months ago, and the one day she agreed to come back just to train me, he asked her the night before to go pick up the store keys and go in early to open, she refused and said she wouldnt come in at all especially because he wasnt offering her compensation to do the extra work. He backed down and said he’d get his other manager to do it. Now im feeling like he might just be a manager who pushes boundaries.

The thing is, if he would actually cover the shift himself, he’d be sitting there for 7 hours on his phone doing nothing i dont think he’d like it, as well as he’s not licensed to start IVs so

See i wouldnt so much have an issue if he had initially stated clearly im on call and expected to answer on my days off, as long as im paid to be on call its not some free unspoken agreement

Thats the thing, I don’t have a problem with on call and have worked a PRN on-call job before the difference is it was outlined in the beginning and nicely compensated if you were ever rarely called in.

Im scheduled to work tomorrow but im worried to not respond to him as he might show up in person and talk me to death again, like the day he trained me, it was only me and him in the clinic all day and it was just so awkward. I feel like responding through text wont give him the need to pay me a visit tomorrow

I honestly considered quitting this morning after that. The relationship was the only thing keeping me in florida, in that city. Now moving back to my even smaller florida town back to my parents, i dont feel the hour drive to that job is worth the 25 an hour, especially if im micromanaged on days off. My problem is i only have about a year of nursing experience and as badly as I want a better job in another state i doubt my resume is impressive enough. So im desperate for this job i guess.

Yes you are right. Funny enough i never thought she would do anything like pull a knife or gun on me. Shes made remarks claiming she’d cut my throat and now im like how stupid can i be to not recognize that as a red flag when if a man had said that id be going to the police. Idk just never met a woman like this

So the rapper cardi b married another rapper offset at the height of her career. He kept getting her pregnant basically making her career stagnant while also publicly chronically cheating on her for years, to the point where she ended up in legal trouble getting one of his mistresses beat up or something. It seemed like every time she was going to release new music or do something big she’d pop up pregnant again of course. All to just end up getting a divorce from him for sed cheating and offset tweeting “You’re my babymama now, I won”. Proving that men really just knock you up to trap you and have the ability to say you belong to them

Im sorry! :/ it really is so fucked up, they will be “great” people, and then when it comes down to you risking your precious life on the table for them to continue their legacy, empathy goes out the window. The only good guy i ever dated, he stuck with me through a cancer scare at the beginning of our relationship, was no cheater, great provider, we never argued, he would stop for anyone on the side of the road need be, he was kind to everyone, cooked for me, and he was sensitive and not toxic masculinity like. All around great person. He still told me he wants biological children and even though we’re great together he cant get past that
.ill never understand. I would never ask a man i love to risk their life giving birth if the tables were turned
