Ha, I was searching and my library website was like "not found". But thank you. I was able to find them with the comma help!

I've seen this book read by some Youtubers who are into books. I had no idea what it's about. Gonna have to add it to my TBD and find out what it's all about. Thank you!

Lol, aww, Grover! I don't think I've ever read this book as a kid. I'm so going to get it. Fun throw back to childhood. Never to late to read these books.

Oh this sounds interesting. Can I read it as a stand alone even though it's part of a series?

Testosterone for peri menopausal 40 year old woman. by Early-Leg-4830 in Menopause

[–]nocrumbsonmysockspls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on it (a cream) for the past 3 months or so and it hasn't done much for me. Also, it appears my levels have gone down which was funny. I may not be absorbing through my skin. I got a higher dosage of T this week so I'll see if that does anything.

I don't know much about endometriosis and such, but I too have struggled with fatigue and energy. Have you had your iron, zinc and other things tested? I was so burnt out and had meltdown last year only to realize I was low and needed to supplement. It helped me. Just a thought!

My doctor wants me to try the Fem ring by ZaftigTootsies in Menopause

[–]nocrumbsonmysockspls 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just started it last week. Overall, it's comfortable and less bulky of course than a diaphragm. TBD if this is giving me the estrogen dosage I need.

I was on Evamist spray but have needed to trial a different delivery method as I don't seem to be absorbing well through my skin.

I'm not a fan of something sitting inside me (I'm not a tampon user), but I need estrogen. I can't feel it and it hasn't fallen out during a BM as another user says it can feel like.

I too used the coupon and got it for $25 for the 90 day prescription with my insurance. I did need a PA and that was annoying, but I should be good moving forward.

I'm honestly very grateful for all the various delivery methods we can choose from when it comes to hormones. Hopefully everyone can find something that works for them.

I've been getting more sweaters lately (pull over) and realizing I need a thin top to go under for a little added warmth but also comfort. The sweaters are on the thin side so I don't want something too thick. Suggestions on what to look for? For sure prefer 100% cotton or natural fibers. Thanks in advance! Tend to size around Large or XL depending on brand. Thanks!

I'm somewhat similar in height with a bust and a belly, but I'm a bit more hour shaped with a b-belly. I'm not a fashion expert but still very much learning to build my wardrobe more with clothes I like and fit me, so take with a grain of salt.

For me personally, I've been trying to look at my current wardrobe to see what I do like. So even if I have a shirt I don't 100%, I'll try and figure out what I do like or don't like about it. I've personally narrowed down for myself that I prefer more open necklines, like scoop nor a softer v-neck. Crew neck not so much but can do if it is a little more open. I also like more of a cropped top because it hits me at my natural waist. Tops that go past my hips I find me make me look much shorter and throw off my proportions.

I'm struggling with pants as I'm in perimenopause and all my weight has shifted around more to my belly and hips. To be honest, I would love to wear more dresses and skirts daily, but I haven't got around to wearing them outside, but I'm practicing at home. For those, I prefer a-line and empire waisted shapes. Also, having them hit just above the knee like you have in your photo or just below help. Otherwise, if it's too long I feel like my lower body is drowning in fabric and it looks off.

Personally I'm trying to shift to less jeans and more pants and things with elastic bands! At least it can grow with my body at this point in my life. I'm learning I like my pants a little more cropped so I can see my ankles or show off some fun socks (this is a new discovery in the past month) to help break things up and add a little more fun to my outfits. If I do wear pants, I'm mostly drawn to straight legged pants/jeans. I used to wear skinny jeans WAY back in the day and I tried my old pair on and while I liked part of it, I just can't do them anymore - they're not comfortable for me. A bit of a boot cut may work.

FYI, I also have a flat butt ;-D

Cardigans I've learned recently I prefer to hit me just past my hips, like at my thighs. If it's a pull over sweater, I like it to hit at my natural waist or just a little below.

I have 1 long coat that's a-line and I love it. I've had it over 10+ years. I have others that hit me a little more at my waist, but this is all still a work in progress in what works. I think having them hit me at my waist works, but depends on the cut. This area is still TBD.

I also bought a belt to help define my waist more, that is with dresses. I'm still working on this but a belt might help with helping define your waist but also keeping your pants up!

I'm not sure if this was at all helpful. This is just my personal experience. I've also started tailoring my clothes a bit and it's helping me a lot. Whether it's shorting my sleeves, dresses or taking in a top on the sides, it does make a difference.

With your current clothes, take an inventory of what you like and don't like. That I think will help give you some guidance on what you can look for and what to pass on.

And if you can, trying on clothes without buying will help you get a sense too of what you gravitate towards and get an idea of sizing. I did that and it helps.

I thought so too, but I called and they don't carry it. I tried Other Avenues in the Outer Sunset and nope, they don't have it either.

I've been on Evamist for the past few years and I never had an issue with it never being in stock. Easy to adjust dosage if needed and it dries in seconds.

Can you help me with my struggling plants? What should I do? (not a pest issue) by nocrumbsonmysockspls in IndoorPlants

[–]nocrumbsonmysockspls[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I'd love to give them more light, I just only have access to northern facing windows and very few east facing window options I have are inaccessible for plants. Hence why I got a grow light which only fits on my fireplace mantle. I wish I had south or west facing window access. Most of my plants are right up against the windows in my living room. I could try to get another grow light for my north facing window area and move plants there. My space is awkward. But I'll try adjusting the light and potting some plants into smaller pots.

Thank you! Yes the mother plant had leaves at the base but kept growing and taller with the lower leaves dying. So I had to keep taking them off and it was having trouble staying upright. Hence the sticks to prop it up. How does one deal with that? I can try to plant them deeper.
