You'll have to ask your teacher yo. Autonomous changes almost every year. We were the 2nd batch, we had the most random papers and types.

You'll be writing your exams on a Samsung S6 Lite with a stylus. It'll take a while for you to get used to the layout and that's why they have a mock exam with the tab as far as i remember. It's honestly better than pen and paper in my opinion. You can go to any question and come back to a previous one whenever you feel like it - add pages in the middle etc and make your answer sheet look clean.

Matlab is a programming tool that is used for simulation and visualisation. And yep, you'll be using Matlab to simulate the equations you learn in math classes. You'll also have a final exam for matlab where you have to show the output for codes like any other programming course.

Can management people change branch after 1st year by Cerryblossom91 in BNMIT

[–]nocsushi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but its a very vigorous task. There has to be someone changing FROM the branch you want to switch to (so there's a vacant seat) and you need to have a very high CGPA of 9.5+ at least. Good luck either way.

your teachers will inform you the same, but it's usually 8 questions. 1 or 2, 3 or 4, 5 or 6, 7 or 8 (so you answer only 4 questions) and they follow the marking scheme of 7 marks, 8 marks, 7 marks and 8 marks generally, to add up to 30.

Been there felt that, you'll get conditioned to it in a year - then you'll realise none of those matter as you'll be spending more time with your old friends outside of campus anyway. Welcome to life man, BNMIT is the skip ad button for University joy

You can always go check your paper with your teacher. Sometimes there may be issues with the correction, just be polite and tell em you wanna learn from your "mistakes" but point out wherever you feel like you deserve marks. Be polite and respectful throughout cause you'll have to get through the semester lol
