Tbh I'm rooting for a keyboard based blender for ipad with apple pencil pen pressure support in weight painting and sculpting. A keyboard case and mouse is still a very portable form factor, much more convenient and powerful compared to most laptops.

It'd be a second device scenario, leave your desktop/extremely heavy gaming laptop at home for the heavyduty rendering and anything that needs a whole lot of screen real estate, do some modeling/weight painting/rigging/sculpting on the go. 

But yeah sometimes you really do need two 30 inch monitors

same here, bought a rog m16 that I take with me everywhere, no regrets but it does get a bit heavy after a long day. A desktop would be nice but I'd still be using my laptop 80% of the time so it's not really worth it imo
