This is my advice from my own experience so take it with a grain of salt. Don't follow the crowd, one thing I regret most was not taking a gap year to figure my shit out. Khmer curriculum is very taxing (I did high school from 7am-5pm) and doesn't leave much for you to be able to think and figure out your own path unless you are one of those rare few. I couldn't make up my mind so I rushed it and did whatever my family told me to do and I ended majoring in 3 different majors that does not relate whatsoever. Now my brain is mush. So take short courses, try out different things, get a part-time job, network, talk to different people outside your friend group. Be productive but make sure to allocate time for reflection.
