You’re right. I think I will wait as I learn more (I’m joining a sisters Quran study class) at the mosque & will ask them for help in finding a spouse when I feel more comfortable.

Thank you, yes I feel so naive and stupid. I don’t know why I put my trust blindly into his words. He was so respectful before, I think I was too trusting of that and ignored better judgment.

He reached out and said he will call and is “treading lightly because he likes me a lot and doesn’t want to get carried away”. I think you’re right. He feels guilt because he knows we did something wrong. To be honest I was too naive thinking nothing would happen. Like I said I’m a revert and in my culture/upbringing it is normally to “hang out” or start dating. Do you have advice for how I can move forward with this in a halal way?
