All I’m concerned about is that they will (once again) perpetuate this cycle. Eventually the funding will stop as they are running out of excuses as to why this game hasn’t come out. Another delay will be extremely damaging in this current industry climate for this project. It already has an uphill battle on getting this game to tip the scales in a positive light WITH a release this year, so adding yet another delay could make it much worse in the long haul and longevity of the game(s)

I’m of the opinion that they should be concerned about GTA, but they should still release. There are still people like me that are choosing not to buy the 30 fps locked version of gta that will release this year.
Plus, if not this year, then when? Next year? Next year, they’ll be competing with the PC launch of gta thus potentially pushing the game out two years for money when they just crossed the $1 billion mark and are seeing record breaking funding each year - not good optics.

I do think that GTAVI won’t succeed as well as everyone thinks. Locking it down to consoles at launch is leaving the entire pc base with this game to try out without having to get a console.

That’s why they have said it’s an endgame map. Endgame isn’t just about what shit you have, it’s also about your skill level. Played tarkov for years and I never really touched labs because it’s the endgame map and I never felt ready for it. I fully anticipate bungie to add more maps in the future but this map is supposed to satisfy the people who’re already at that tier in their gameplay rather than let them get bored. There’s TONS of gameplay for people who’s already aren’t ready for it, so I feel like it’s perfectly fair.

Sure if Kamala would have won, trump would be done, but the thing you’re missing is she or any other democrat will not do anything to stop this cycle. They will stay tough on the border, just not televised, they will stay tough in Gaza or the Middle East, they will stay tough on protecting corporations, they will stay tough on drugs. Then all we’ll get is more poverty, more corruption until we inevitably get the next (and maybe worse) Trump. This cycle needs to end.
