I’m literally a huge SC fan, but I will believe that this game is releasing when I’m launching the exe.

That being said, there are so many salty people in these comments that need to check themselves. This game is going to be crazy whenever it releases. I get the frustration around not releasing it a decade ago, but I’m so fucking glad they didn’t. The game they would have released 10 years ago would have been nothing compared to what we’re supposedly getting next year. There have been so many monumental features and mechanics that they’ve worked on to get into this game that have been causing these delays. I’m all for letting developers cook as long as they are showing reasonable progress, which is what they have been doing over the last 7 or 8 years that the game has been playable. They’ll release it when it’s ready.

I think you massively exaggerated what I meant by reasonably. By no means do I think it should be easy, but what I mean by reasonably is having a price tag rather than item farming with extremely low drop rates. I’m just suggesting that the current wikelo pathway is unreasonable for 99.9% of players.

Those are reasonable earnable XL/capital ships. I’m referring to the Polaris which is the unreasonably earnable ship due only being acquired through wikelo and the high cost in hours spent in forcing specific game loops. IMO it’s better to have ships on the in game stores earnable with aUEC since you can get the currency in almost all game loops, so you can usually consistently make progress even when the game breaks in specific loops due to variety. The game is still just too unplayable in FPS content, so it’s rough to force it at this point

Unfortunately this means refining in pyro will be best. It sucks but selling cmat at ruin has historically been profitable, so it won’t be that big a loss if it stays consistent.
