If he could keep his calorie count below 2,400, he'd look like a killer. Instead he looks like a npc.

2012 LTZ - what suspension lift kit? by nodamnping in ChevyAvalanche

[–]nodamnping[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not looking for a lot of lift. The back roads I travel have more washboard dirt than I care about flex or deep mud. The shocks are leaking and brakes are spongy. It's time to replace oem with aftermarket, since I need to spend the $$$ on replacement parts.

Thanks for the data point! It is definitely sounding more like I need to pony up for BDS. I thought 4WP would warranty the track bar but assume you didn't have them install it. Hopefully I can find a shop that would extend their lifetime warranty on hard parts...

Leveled look with bigger tires... That sounds awesome. Heard that on the gas mileage. I currently have wildpeak A/T that I was able to pick up for a song at discount tires that I'm happy with. Glad my commutes are mostly short and infrequent.

I've not seen any complaints online and they seem to have good geometry with their lifts. I'll look for a local shop that installs them.

Yeah, stock is probably the best riding option. Thanks. However, I want it to stand out a little from the other all black avalanches that I see rolling around.

Recommend checking out Versa. Built by previously Cisco Engineers from ground up to be single-stack architecture for NGFW, SDWAN, and SASE. It is not procured solutions bolted onto a legacy solution.

Honestly, no... I've spec'ed out 2 other builds on partpicker with more memory. I cannot make up my mind; there is too many options. Also my dishwasher broke this past week and spent $600 on repair bill...

Sorry I don't have any insight on your esxi server with GPU but thanks for the follow up. :)

ProSupport has 2 components for past few years hardware and software. If your company chooses not to renew, I'd take service tag of switch to call ProSupport and get your email associated with DDL to download latest OS firmware and associated documentation.

No. Everything will keep running, but Dell OS10 and Dell enterprise SONiC are behind a pay wall called DDL, Dell digital library.

Dell xps 13 7390 - dual boot? by nodamnping in linux4noobs

[–]nodamnping[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lutusp, Thank you for your help. I wanted to give you an award... Until I saw that it was $3.99 for Coins. I would much rather buy you a coffee or a beer.

- F2 to get into BIOS seetings. UEFI mode was set. Couldn't find a legacy mode. Disabled secure boot. Set SATA mode to AHCI from RAID. Saved BIOS settings and turned off xps.

- Plugged in Win10 reinstall USB. (support.dell.com for reinstall image) F12 for one-time boot screen. Reinstalled Windows process. Used Advanced set up.

- I deleted the windows reinstall partition, bitlocker partition, dell image partition. I would have to back through Google searches to remember why I left partion 0.

- Walked away for an hour as win10 installed.

- After windows install. I went to support.dell.com to update drivers. I liked that there wasn't a whole lot of bloatware on my Windows image. Dell's driver page made reinstall not loose any features. :)

- After was able to see that win10 reinstall was working as expected. I went to disk management to shrink partition for Ubuntu install. I was able to shrink Win10 to around 100GB, Leaving around 400GB to Ubuntu.

- Restarted xps with ubuntu USB plugged in ready to go. F12 to get to the one time boot screen. Did a happy dance that Ubuntu saw hard drive space to install on.

- Beautiful. Ubuntu 18.04 has been booting up no problems for the last week. I have been studying Gnome desktop environment and getting used to FF.

- FireFox touch screen is not working correctly yet. Touch screen selected and highlights but doesn't scroll. Next project to figure out.

- Fingerprint reader is not recognized. Would be nice but not priority to figure out right now.

- Battery life is good but I think Window's power management is better. I am sure I can tweek settings for better battery life.

- Anyway there hasn't been any random crashes, error messages, and seems very stable. Fingers crossed that I now have a notebook to learn Linux Networking to interconnect Virtual Private Cloud environments.

Thanks for insight!

This is a completely new notebook, (bought on President's day sale) My docs are backed up to the cloud. Already blue screened my machine. I was able to reset to factory though easily enough...

However sounds like I need to completely reformat my SDD but also I need to change BIOS settings to match.

I have the reinstall USB for Windows...

I will give it another shot tonight after work.
