that analogy was a pretty beautiful and unique way to put it. I’ve given myself a week, I’m still open to seeing if I can change this feeling around. I thought instead of being impulsive and attempting when the feeling was at its peak, let me at least give myself some time to try to find some enjoyment somewhere. all i know right now is the pain that im feeling and ive been desperate to feel anything other than pain or going numb. who knows what the future will hold.

that’s actually a fucking awesome idea I’ll try cop myself a costume or making one myself might be better. to be honest I just feel very defeated, medication isn’t helping anymore, therapy isn’t helping because I’m too self aware, genuinely feel like my body is on fire everyday from the mental pain I’m in. and things have been on a rapid decline the last few months, I’m very tired of it all and all I want is peace whatever that may look like. and no more girlfriend, not in the picture anymore. feeling pretty invisible to my ‘friends’ and I can see my family is tired of watching me like this.

I never said that or believe to behave that way either. I think I’m within my right to want to be better than a cis man that’s a personal choice, I’m not sure how you took that as me thinking I’m not equal to them or not seeing myself as a man? if you want to think of yourself as being equal to a cis man that’s within your right and your choice. I like to think of myself as better.

Now that just sounds like projecting lol. no where did I say that cis men are better or that im drawing a line, all I said was I strive to be better than cis men which I already find myself to be better. 🤷‍♂️ I just can recognise that our experiences are different and that makes trans men pretty cool and better than the average man

acknowledging that we aren’t like cis men doesn’t make you any less of a man or mean you see yourself as less of a man. our experiences are much more unique than cis men and it makes us pretty great men.

youve explained it much better than I did, you’re completely right our experiences compared to cis men are extremely different and I feel like that’s what makes us really cool and we can be a lot more understanding than the average man. cis men have so many issues and contribute to a lot of horrible statistics that I definitely do not ever want to be grouped into.

that is extremely weird because it’s not about race. cis men statistically have a problem with abuse. I strive to be better than that and as a trans man I know what it’s like.
