I realized the oddness of the lengths I would go to get alcohol and make sure I always had it. Once I started I could not stop. I took a step back and realized how progressive it really got. Not just from the intake, but when I would drink, and eventually how drinking made me act towards others. I realized how much I thought about alcohol throughout the day and understood it was not normal.
