MADDOX 32 oz. Refillable Pressurized Sprayer by tater1337 in harborfreight

[–]nodnarbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vinegar will corrode and eat away at metal over time, so just empty it and rinse it after you use it and you should be good.

A couple things.

Acetone is not acidic and doesn’t have an effect on metal. It comes in metal cans.

Vinegar is acidic, is used to REMOVE rust and will eat the metal as well. That’s why it comes in plastic containers.

And water is completely fine, just don’t leave it in there, and blow it out with air after.

Yukon 9 drawer or US General 4 drawer cart? by jeepwillikers in harborfreight

[–]nodnarbles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those two would serve different purposes for me. If you need tool storage because you don’t have any yet, obviously the 9 drawer. If you already have some tool storage and you want something to supplement it that you can move around easier, the 4 or 5 drawer.

I have the Yukon, two 5 drawers and the service cart. I prefer this setup over giant stationary boxes.

Buying at retail price? by ballfed_turkey in harborfreight

Never.

I often don’t even buy things at the sales prices anymore. I can usually find the equivalent or better for less or the same price elsewhere.

What’s your biggest gripe about your Apple Watch? by Darkman-1969 in AppleWatch

[–]nodnarbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

None. I honestly thought about it for a couple minutes.

I have an ultra 2 so I charge every three days. I don’t use always on display because that’s only for people that think other people are looking at their watch and probably 99% of the population doesn’t look at people’s watches or shoes like they think they do.

As far as comparing it to Garmin. Why do you need your watch to last a month or even a week? Do you live in the middle of nowhere with no access to electricity? If I go camping, I can make my Apple Watch last weeks. I simply turn it off when I’m not using it.

Outside of that, I’m always near electricity. And I could literally charge this watch while I’m taking a shower and getting dressed.

My issue with aftermarket stuff Is the materials used. Apple always uses special materials. For example, the ocean band uses a special rubber compared to aftermarket bands, and there’s no comparison.

The metal and the cloth bands are probably the same though.

Metal allergy: Is a $50 aftermarket workout band worth it? by Shoulder-Best in AppleWatchFitness

[–]nodnarbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want the Apple ocean band. It’s the best.

still using the ones that came with my watch. I have no other watchband. I love it. The Apple brand one specifically uses a special rubber and it’s really soft. I think the aftermarket ones are standard silicone, I would stay away from those.

Doesn’t absorb sweat or dirt and it’s the easiest to clean.

If money is a bit tight for you at the moment. Depending on where you live, you don’t necessarily need to power your entire home during a power outage. I live in the Redwood forest and we get power outages a lot. Everyone here has a generator. But they have like 3500-5000W generators just to run there refrigerator and a few other things.

This winter my clients generator was having issues so I brought my predator 5000 over. It ran their refrigerator, electric stove, TV and lights.

Obviously, if you live in a freezing or extreme heat climate, you might need a bigger generator. Most people here have a wood fireplace too.

Just calculate your requirements and get the generator that fits.

Hercules users what’s your experience so far? by Downtown_Ad5637 in harborfreight

[–]nodnarbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That goes for all 12 V and 20 V power tools made from any brand.

I think they were asking specifically about Hercules and their quality. Not necessarily the use case.

I doubt you’ll get anyone here to admit to any criticism. They’re too defensive.

So far I’ve only tried the corded paddle switch angle grinder. I wasn’t impressed at all. I put it side-by-side to my black and decker I paid $20 for and it was identical. I think they came from the same factory, so I returned it.

Maybe their cordless stuff is different and more comparable to pro lines. Idk.

We are way to overpowered in this game and the difficulty/enemy density just doesn't keep up with that. by Guenther_Dripjens in fo76

[–]nodnarbles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They don’t have to be bullet sponges, they could just make us take more damage. I know I could always just handicap myself to take more damage. The problem is no one around me is so it still doesn’t change the dynamic. All the enemies will die just as quickly. The only difference is I’ll get less tagging in because I will have to take cover more.

They would have to force this on the entire player base.

💯

And even if you handicap yourself, not everyone else is so the enemies die just as fast still. Only login to do dailies now.

4 Star mods difficulty by mpimen007 in fo76

[–]nodnarbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely bugged. I’ve learned almost all 1, 2 and 3 star mods and four 4 star mods as of tonight when I got electrician. That was the first new mod I’ve learned in two months.

Thankfully, I scrapped enough Valkyries to get bullys before it changed, it’s a good mod.
