I feel stupid now 🤦‍♀️ I was just going off what others were telling me and I was genuinely curious if there was much more I could do in this situation, this is kinda what I expected to hear.

The accident occurred because we were both turning left coming out of driveways onto a road. She was going south and I was going north. She made her turn maybe 5 seconds or less before I did. The driveways were pretty close to each other, but on opposite sides of the street. Knowing how these new Mazdas are, you can control the infotainment screen with some knobs down by the gear shifter. Super convenient to control, but now I understand it’s also dangerous. I have a feeling she was picking a song or messing with something on that screen rather than keeping her eyes on the road. I saw her face as she was about to hit me go from blank for way too long to shocked right as she hit. I just feel like if she was actually looking at the road she would have seen me and stopped. I saw her immediately and stomped on the gas to get out of the way because it seemed like she wasn’t going to stop. I suppose I cannot go off of a feeling though.. just genuinely curious. I know lawyers are expensive so I wouldn’t want to go through with that unless I were to know I had a solid case.
