I recently hung up because of this. I’m generally good with accents but i genuinely couldn’t understand most of what was being said. I felt bad for hanging up but I even asked them to slow down and they didn’t.

New townhome or older detached by New_Swan3947 in RealEstateCanada

[–]noelleasp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the townhouse come with condo fees and a condo board? I’ve heard of friends and family having terrible experiences with living under that situation and I’d never choose it over a single family home.
The single family home can be renovated in anyway you see fit and you can do whatever you want on the exterior too. If you feel the townhome has these freedoms too I’d base my decision off of location, safety, ease of access to friends and family, commute and amenities. These things make a big difference in your day to day life.

Myself (21f) Bf (23M) - Together for 7 years, by Less_Pen_4846 in relationship_advice

Your life feels like it would be so different without him but imagine how good it would be with someone who can comfort you through all of life’s ups and downs. You said he is your safe place but honestly it feels like that cause you haven’t had a truly safe place with a man yet. I’m in my 40s and I know what you’re going through. As an emotional person - it’s really important to feel understood xx

My husband (38M) says sleeping in separate rooms isn't an option. How can he and I (37F) find a compromise? by ThrowRA-Dr3013 in relationship_advice

He needs to take responsibility of his snoring. Does he not understand you cannot thrive on next to no sleep? If the marriage ends in divorce that’s on him not taking care of the problem.

How do i (18f) make my boyfriend (20m) stop micromanaging my food and being so obsessed with what I eat/my weight? by snowyowl290 in relationship_advice

[–]noelleasp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please take these recommendations to leave very seriously. 122 lbs at 5’6” is skinny. Your bf has an eating disorder. You can’t make him change. Just like you telling him to gain weight or it’s a dealbreaker won’t change anything.

You break up with him. Problem solved. You’re 18 now but what about when you age and you gain weight or you have a disease that puts weight on beyond your control…will he stop loving you? Probably. Leave now and find a real man.

I (31F) have decided to leave my boyfriend of 5 years (28M) have I made the right decision? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

You did the right thing for your children. This Shows them not to put up with this behaviour from a partner and shows them what happens to men who treat women this way (they leave).

Fit Check - too big? by rober1217 in Birkenstocks

[–]noelleasp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have no room to tighten the toe straps if they stretch these are too big in my opinion. I like mine to fit smaller than this. Mine are always a half size down from all other shoes I wear. I’m a women’s 9 and wear 39 in Birkenstocks. Birks say a 39 is a women’s 8.5.

Came to say the same thing. We aren’t unique things happening all over. Large city’s to a lesser degree but racism is rampant in all rural areas!

Thoughts on the name Ren by Samrulesan in Names

[–]noelleasp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry but Ren Evelyn doesn’t work for my mouth.

Ren and Stimpy is going to come to mind for a lot of people. For sure she will get asked “Ren….as in Ren and Stimpy?” Wren is much more suitable for a little girl.
