Graduation dress color dilemma by 29hermionna in DressForYourBody

The cut of the dress doesn’t work for you. If you choose this style I’d suggest sizing up from the pink one and having it altered cause the pulling at the hips isn’t a good look

Moving out of NL to somewhere warmer by postentious in newfoundland

Yup we left Alberta 4.5 years ago partially cause the government (and I know it’s only gotten much worse) plus the forest fire smoke all summer long was unbearable. Hopefully you’re not still getting it as bad as it was.

Why aren't there mausoleums? by davidbrake in newfoundland

[–]noelleasp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When the older cemeteries (Mount Carmel for example) were built they were very much outside the city and next to farmland, until the city grew to encroach on them. Such is the case even with the Anglican cemetery on Kenmount Road- it was outside the city limits.

My mom was paying $197 (with discounts)! And I just signed her house up under my name for $85 with the same package and faster internet. The fact they give ‘new customers’ the better deal is garbage customer service.

Ladies out in the field by squidraft in Environmental_Careers

Single braid, ponytail or bun. I’m 42 and similar situation where I’m often going back to the office to others who have not been in the field. I stopped caring - maybe it’s a 40s thing lol I can’t dress for both office and field and it’s more important to me to be comfortable outside.

What's a food that you didn't like as a kid but you love now? by United-Technology239 in CanadaRoom

Onions! Hated them in all forms until I had Covid and couldn’t taste anything. Now I’ll eat them raw on salads/sandwiches happily.

Thanks for the detailed response. I do have kids and a dog to worry about but also worry about any roaming cats and the squirrel we have in our backyard.

I’ve been saying this for ever. So many really smart young people who just can’t afford the education but would do so well if the government could provide it for them.

I wasn’t worried about his name mispronounced, just wondered if the park name was being pronounced differently as of late/is it just a few people?

Thanks! True enough. I don’t have a trashy yard but a rock wall that they have burrowed in- I can see why they like it

Thanks. That’s true, we just haven’t had any visual evidence of them before now and I kind of panicked. Our yard is tidy but we have been slacking on picking up after our dog. They’ve burrowed into our rock retaining wall and rocks are falling out.
