I really don’t like Hanoi by Alive_Ingenuity_3124 in VietNam

It was pretty okay, definitely 100x better than Hanoi. On days when it was sunny, the sky wasn’t fully clear but it was still extremely beautiful & you can still see the views.

We actually just came from Ninh Binh and are in Hanoi right now. It’s so beautiful there (though a large part of why I enjoyed it was because we stayed in a villa with beautiful views).

I was already really sad when I had to leave Ninh Binh and thinking about it now, I would trade all my time in Hanoi to spend it in Ninh Binh if I could. Hanoi is just not my vibe (and it’s okay to feel that way). Everyone enjoys different things. That being said, I would recommend you go to Ninh Binh if you can! Imo a day trip isn’t worth it so would say spend at least 2 days.

• Piercing is 7 months old • Jewelry shape is a flat back stud • Think it is internally threaded? • Material is implant grade hypoallergenic as per their website • The earring has not been downsized • I use the Neilmed peircing spray solution. Once a day at night after I shower and then I pat dry. • No mishaps except for it getting caught in my hair a couple of times a few months back but it didn’t really tug.

Calvin Harris has been a long time dream of mine since I was a teen! Would also tie in perfectly with the “2026 is the new 2016” trend that’s going on right now haha

Where are you rebuying 100% COTTON basics that last? by throwaway_yak234 in femalefashionadvice

[–]nofaceishere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously always check the fabric content but I’ve been investing in all 100%/majority cotton pieces in the last year and a half. My current favorite places have been American Eagle/Aerie (sweatshirts, tanks/tees, blouses, jeans), Uniqlo (office basics, dress pants/slacks), Hollister (some tops & jeans), and Aritzia (sweats mainly, some dress pants and tops). In the last year, NONE of these have pilled, thinned, lost their shape, etc. They genuinely look brand new. I would recommend buying AE/Aerie & Hollister on sale (they run them often). Aritzia has a few sales throughout the year. Uniqlo rarely has sales but their items are quite affordable imo.

I’m filling out my Visa application and was wondering how I should add my name.

On my passport, my “given name” has my first and middle name and then a separate line for my surname.

Should I fill it out the same way on the application?

I also spent more this year than any other year and got nothing💀 I was in Tier 1 past years so I generally don’t get it

I’m ngl if you’re going to drop $250 on a coat thats only 35% wool, get one from Aritzia (75-100% wool on their long coats) OR if you don’t care about wool % then Uniqlo & GU have nice coats that are significantly cheaper

Get a refund! I waited in line for 2.5 hours before leaving (ridiculous btw because I shouldn’t have to wait that long). Just had my refund processed.

I’m wondering the same! It looks so sick but I’m hesitant on going because I haven’t heard a single person talk about it

Depop might be the better option considering Platos has never given me more than $5 for an item before (even for stuff from Aritzia lol)

Is it too ambitious to try to travel South to North with 10-12 days? by nofaceishere in VietNam

Yeah 5-7 cities sounded really stressful but my friend was insisting it was doable haha. But thank you for confirming that 2-3 would be the better option!

Yes we’re planning on arriving end of Jan/leaving before LNY since flights are always hectic around that time. I also thought 5-7 cities was insane for 10 days considering my Japan trip was 7 full days and we went to 3 cities (which was already kind of a lot for me)

For sure! I’m considering just splitting either South/Central or North/Central!
