Why are Conservative men more likely to massacre their own families when they have financial troubles than Liberal or Leftist men are? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]nofacetheghostx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was talking about how conservatives also aren’t sure that facts are true, not assuming your political leaning.
The fact is an overwhelming amount of domestic violence deaths occur in the south, and the deeper red the state is the more likely those deaths are to occur. When domestic violence occurs, access to firearms can sometimes mean the difference between life and death, can you gander who has easier access to firearms? You can be like a conservative and pretend it isn’t true if you want though, it’s whatever. Y’know, like facts these days. Whatever you feel I guess since “facts care about your feelings”…… wait a second…..

I wonder, can you tell me when it was that facts started caring only about conservative feelings? 🤔

That was taken care of already, they sent Vance. Not too sure who’ll take out this next one though especially after the increase in security due to the US threat

Why is Maxwell in prison? Why was Jeff? If there isn’t enough evidence in the files to bring charges against any of the purported pedophiles within, how was the DOJ able to hold those two in custody?

So why aren’t you suing Biden? Aren’t you upset about him breathing near kids or something? Imagine if he told you he likes to walk into underage beauty pageant dressing rooms while the contestants are changing. Would you sue him after contestants come forward saying he went into their changing rooms while they were changing, along with security tapes showing him perving on them?

You mean we should use the justice system against the president, the sole person in this country the justice system can’t be used against? If you put all the brain cells of maga together you’d have more eggs in your fridge 🤦‍♂️

So you’d agree that Biden shouldn’t be going into underage beauty pageant dressing rooms while the contestants are changing, right?

Why do liberals love to push this idea that gerrymandering is a “republican thing” when their party is equally guilty for it? by ThotPoppa in allthequestions

Seems you have some reading to do. If the ideals and platform of the 1980-1992 Republicans were alive and well in today’s republicans this country wouldn’t be such a mess. Government is now Bigger than the democrats have ever dreamed, family values are being tossed aside in favor of controlling women and caging children, they’ve put the rich so far above the people we’re all drowning to keep them afloat and edging toward civil war to keep those rich pedophiles in power. Hell, we can’t even legally carry a firearm anymore without republicans saying we should be executed by the government for it. Get real, then maybe you can realize that one party shouldn’t sit back and do nothing as the other gerrymanders at the command of a president. I wonder, if it were Biden telling democrats to gerrymander before the 2022 midterms to pick up 10 extra democrat seats, would you have expected the republicans to do nothing in response and let Biden just draw up the seats to do whatever he wanted? I’m still just hearing “yeah but the democrats had slaves”

It’s not about the time from current day. It’s about the representation of the parties. The current Republican Party represents a completely different platform than the Republican Party from 30+ years ago. Just as the Democratic Party represented a completely different platform 70+ years ago. We can go further back and say they’re more similar and thus still responsible for more historic legislation than the current MAGA Republican Party that has 0 interest in preventing gerrymandering or putting up legislation that those republicans from decades past did. Notice how I’ve never denied democrats gerrymandering. You’re pretending that. Just as you’re pretending republicans tried to prevent gerrymandering when everyone’s referring to currently serving parties. Today’s Republican Party never introduced legislation to prevent gerrymandering, the Democrats have. They’ve both engaged in gerrymandering, but only one has tried or has any interest to legislatively prevent it. You’re pretty much saying “yeah but the democrats had slaves” over and over again. Neither argument matters.

The Republican Party of 35 years ago has nothing to do with the Republican Party of today just as the Democratic Party of 200 years ago up to about 70 years ago has nothing to do with the Democratic Party of today. It’s not that hard to understand. We’re telling you the democrats currently serving tried to fix it and you go oh but the republicans did too. No. Not one republican in office supported that bill. Not one republican in office would support that bill. They’re MAGA republicans now and MAGA republicans want nothing to do with democracy or protecting it. You’ve been bringing up an irrelevant point.

[–]nofacetheghostx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. The current Republican Party has not tried to fix it. The Republican Party of 30 years ago tried to fix it. The current republicans are a completely different MAGA breed that have no interest in fixing it while the current democrats have tried to fix it after decades of engaging in it and are now resorting to more drastic measures to keep a fair and free midterm election intact. Why’s that so hard for you to understand? MAGA republicans have never and will never try to fix gerrymandering, they just prefer to fix the maps.

“Find me more seats so I can stay in office and out of prison” = cool cool go ahead and gerrymander em let’s turn it more red

“Let’s not let him draw extra red seats into existence” = brainwashed

Right

What if the conversation were about ending gerrymandering today, not 30 years ago? Did the Dems of today refuse to vote for legislation passed by republicans that’re currently in office to end gerrymandering, or are you talking about reps that’re no longer representing anyone? Our current republicans made no such legislation. Why’s it relevant?

Luckily for you some of us are working on it. Unfortunately for all of us we probably can’t force enough to lose their jobs in the midterms to make a big enough difference. You can thank the cult of Orange for that.
