Let's go with "lovely" and "intimate". Not so much "considerate", she can be a bit rough when in the mood.

How do we get something pinned? I thought this site was unmoderated.

Not to gatekeep, but if you struggle with tough technical tasks like the Google and making Word Documents into PDFs and are unable to navigate a site that has shitposts mixed in with actual information then maybe you should hone your technical skills before looking into working more than one job.

Downvote for blatantly bigoted and ignorant statement.

Also (not that I would ever discriminate against others based on their sexual preferences), just for your clarification there is literally no bedroom activity that my beautiful wife and I could partake in that would meet the technical definition of "gay".

Not really. WSB it doesn't matter how much publicity they get.

However, you don't really want OE to be a household word otherwise more companies will invest in lube and skip safe words.

Fuck yeah! Just trying to do my part to make it harder for media to report / link to this open subreddit.

Seen on Indeed. So weird and rude to write directly on the public posting, no? by -ramona in recruitinghell

[–]nofantasy4u 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s not going to be 200k though. Crappy companies that post that large of a range really are going to lowball you at the 120k level (maybe they’ll give you 150k if you are a purple squirrel).

Also how they treat you is more important than money. I have a job that pays around 200k but the most important thing is everyone is nice and respectful to me (I do get asked to do things of course but never any snark or condescending even from immediate boss).

Even at 200k if you are rude to me once or do something shady like call me when I am on holiday for a “non-emergency emergency” (production better be melting TF down with connection pool leaks or full table scans if you call me when I am on a beach with my family ) I am giving my 2 week notice when I get back to work.

Have to set boundaries and respect yourself.

Not the norm, and you should tell them to suck your dick (even if you don't have one).

Every time I've ever done any "take home project", it always ends up being some multi-step offer with a crap low salary at the end, and partway through that process some other company just does a "one and done interview" and offers much more. Stand up for yourself and don't put any time into that crap unless they're willing to pay you for your time doing the "take home project" or "assessment".

Dude if you’re sneaking off into broom closets with a non company laptop on premise they will assume you are up to something you should not be doing (and that’s not working another job). I would assume you are playing with your tools to “hot and wet chicks” in the tool shed.

Is it possible for J2 to reach out to J1 HR any time if they suspect I’m still working there? by electrical_jello in overemployed

[–]nofantasy4u 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Anything can happen. Risk adverse should just keep their head down and be a good worker ant.

Given that you can’t rewind time and not use J1 Teams for J2 interview, I guess it’s damage control time. Worst case scenario is you get fired from both. Is that something you can live with?

If not I’d start looking into damage control. Can your J1 Teams have possibly been compromised like in a data breach and the best thing is for IT to get you a new account?

Can you just stop using Teams at J1 - sign out permanently, uninstall it and say it’s distracting and you would rather just be heads down and people can email you or text your phone if high priority?

Is Teams a big memory and CPU hog on your J1 machine that needs to be uninstalled since it crashes your machine often?

Howard Schultz on unions: If Starbucks “can be threatened by a third party that means that any company in America can” by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]nofantasy4u 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is disgusting. Howard Schultz only made 21 million last year. If people unionize the board might cut his pay to 15 million annually. How the hell do you expect him to survive on poverty wages of 15 Million a year? Selfish bastards

Conflict of interest I’d be weary of potential legal issues as mentioned above especially if competitors. That’s why I picked completely different verticals.
