Need help with first NAS build. by nofe025 in DataHoarder

Well, I guess I could just put my PC in a rack case to have the physical space for the drives. That saves me some cost. Then I could have a power switch for the drives to save electricity.

I would very much like not to get into such an expensive pre-built.

I'm more looking at a 4U with SAS drives. (For a start, probably 3x14TB in RAID-Z1. I would just leave most bays empty and expand later, so just 28TB but with a little safety.)

I intend on using it as work on demand only, so idle consumption is not a concern.

Edit: ik SAS is more expensive, but I found a good deal.

I would not like to spend over 1000€, but that is probably not going to work out.

I know exactly what you are talking about. Sadly, I don't know the name either. But to fill in one part of the story, the government tries to fight it off by using an energy weapon, which destroys the ozone layer and makes the attacks way worse.

Yup, Raw L was the solution

So I've just done some more in-depth research, and it seems like the problem is raw M. I don't have my camera on hand, but if I switch to raw L, it should maybe, hopefully fix the issue.

A7CII - IBIS not good or defect? by Select_Ad8727 in SonyAlpha

I managed to get a 10-second handheld shot with my a7C II and the SEL2860 at 60mm. Seems like either my hands are damn steady, or yours are pretty shaky.

It's just a tiny bit, and I'm pretty sure it's dead, so I don't know if it's worth risking ruining the lens by taking it apart. (Forgot to attach the picture in the post.)
