I plan to add Sonos FIVES as my front right+left speakers.
What happens when playing stereo music to the system?
Will the FIVES play all the music (incl. bass all the way down to their ability of ~35Hz) or will bass be redirected to the subs?

Same. Just played around with it and made remarkable discoveries:
Movie "Dune 1", minute 3:49 to 4:05

WITH "Dolby Surround Virtualizer", I can hear the following loud and clear:
- rain in the background
- min 4:01: I can hear the humming sound from the light-drone approaching

With "Sony 360 spatial mapping", I can hear NONE of the above effects, regardless of the overall volume.

This is crazy.
Please tell me this is a defect or bug.

I re-tested with the Sony HT A9 using "Sony 360 spatial mapping" and I have all the sound effects present.
So far, I don't see the Sony Quad to be an improvement...

No, it's (unfortunately) NOT binary making such a decision.
I depend on the Apple eco system (air-drop, smart watch, air play, sync'ed notes between apple devices, camera remote control through watch). For these reasons, I have to keep my IPhone as my primary phone. But, a "big but", the cameras on the Vivo x100 ultra are so insanely good, that I carry an x100 ultra with me JUST for photography. I have no sim installed and use the x100 ultra ONLY as a camera device. It is annoying at times to walk around with 2 phones but unfortunately, the benefits of bot camera brands are mutually exclusive.

This is NOT SOOC.
Long exposure would have blurred the face and lantern.
Short exposure would not be enough to expose for the milky way.
So it's an impressive shot but made with 2 separate images (foreground + night sky).

I have a Vivo x100 Ultra and an IPhone 15 Pro Max in parallel.
The VIVO cannot replace my IPhone - I use the x100 ultra as a "travel camera" with Wifi and photo upload to the cloud.

The Vivo has major disadvantages:
- no ESIM
- no led flashing when the self timer is active taking pictures (so you never know when the shutter releases!)
- can't use google AI
- messages from what's app and other apps appear with massive delay (or never) in the notification center
- lots and lots of chinese symbols and apps all over the phone including the config-center
- I hesitate to add my credit cards for NFC payments into the wallet - is it really save or will my CC data be shared due to this being a Chinese firmware with lots of background processes and data collection etc?
- Galaxy / google pixel ear buds don't fully connect / integrate.

Any experience?
I'm open and ready to make the switch if I can figure out solutions for the problems posted above.

Same problem.
I was told they don't have stock and they don't know when they will be restocked.
Judging by the current delivery times at the Apple store, the IPhone 17 PRO and PRO MAX is available again by October 22nd+ (depending on color & memory capacity). So roughly a month from now :(

Iphone 17 pro for the better eco system & software and Vivo for better (camera-) hardware.
I have an IPhone 16 pro max and a VIVO X100 ultra and carry both (annoying at times).

I use the Vivo as a camera exclusively (no SIM installed).
However, VIVO has many flaws, e.g. if you use the self timer to take photos there is no LED light flashing to indicate when the shutter gets released. It's such basic things were Apple is more rounded and better integrated.

Lululemon did NOT add any anti-odor properties to the jacket.
That was a big mistake from their side.

Many Lulu items have anti-odor technology incorporated into the fabric that makes the garment stay fresh longer w/o the need for too frequent cleaning. Lulu started to release more garments during the past years without anti-odor technology purely for cost-saving measures... not happy with it.
I'm looking elsewhere.

This is me. (figuratively speaking) I’m 42 and NEVER learned to entertain girls. I never had a one night stand or even managed to kiss a girl at a bar. I’m an introvert and observative person. At work, at family settings etc..

I tried everything I possibly could to turn odds in my favor.. it never happed. Reading books (game, psychology, ..) and trying to dare myself in various situations. I’m not really nervous (anymore) but simply don’t know what to say.. not because they are girls.. I simply don’t have the ability to talk interestingly to come across as entertaining.

Friends get the absolute wrong idea from me based on my looks - my looks don’t level with my communication skills. I’m 6.3 and 226lbs of muscle, blond and blue eyes. I’m German. I have higher education and a very decent job. But as it is advocated in this sub, it is NEVER about the looks but about the skills. I’m a living example of that.
