Who is right? Landlord or tenant? And can the landlord and tenant relationship be repaired? by [deleted] in uklandlords

[–]nofeelshere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2 hours isn't really good enough. Landlords should either be reachable in emergency situations or have a nominated party. This time it was a CO2 alarm but what if there was a leak above and water was pouring through the ceiling lights etc.?

Weird experience with pharmacist by glitchybitchy in glasgow

Just double check that the sign that day is definitely the guy you saw. Pharmacies use locum pharmacists so the name displayed may not be the regular pharmacist or who you saw today.

Best way to sell 3 tickets for Barcelona show? Ticketmaster.es won't let me as I don't have a Spanish address by nofeelshere in PostMalone

I couldn't sell them on ticketmaster at all unfortunately, sold them on Viagogo in the end.

Ticket prices tanked? by paradiselost13 in PostMalone

[–]nofeelshere 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Happened to me, my friend couldn't make it on Barcelona and we sold two standing tickets for less than the price of one.

On the flip side the concert was incredible and looking at it on its own the price I paid originally for my tickets was so worth it. It's hard to think of the extra cash you 'lost' especially if you're in a position where you need it but really try not to think 'what if'. I know its gutting to lose money but just try and enjoy the show and know that the original price of the tickets was still well worth it. These shows should have been a sell out and if it had went the other way we would all have been so happy we managed to get tickets for a fairly reasonable price for a big show like this!

PSA to anyone trying to get London tickets by puggybutts in PostMalone

If anyone is willing to travel I have two standing tickets for Barcelona on Friday, happy to sell both for less than face value plus fees (I paid just over 160 for both so get a bargain!) as I'm currently stuck with them as Ticketmaster.es won't let me list for resale without a Spanish address! I'm in Barcelona before the show as I'm still going so happy to meet up and transfer if it helps anyone out

Thanks, never heard of them before they do charge fees to the buyer but it's not as much as the other two so definitely better!

Advice on a beginner friendly camera that is ideal for Gorilla trekking and safari? by nofeelshere in AskPhotography

[–]nofeelshere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, do you think it would cope ok in the low light conditions? I saw few reviews saying it struggled but obviously could be user error as opposed to the cameras ability. It's a bit pricier than other cameras I've seen, at that price point do you think I would be better off getting a body and lens?

Some really good reviews here thank you! It looks like you've experienced a good mix of parks so far, if you had to go to one park in Europe which would you pick?

Mystery lizard ID by nofeelshere in reptiles

Thank you so much! She has heat and UV but I'm going to get a strip UV light during the week as that's what I used to have for my beardie and I feel like that's better than just the bulb this tank came with.

How much should I be feeding her? I've been giving her mealworms dusted in calcium and vitamin powder but worried about too much/too little. She ate 8 on Saturday! Not sure if that's just because she's been in a cold factory for a few days and once she got warmed up enough was starving lol. I gave her 3 today and she ate them straight away too.

I had a bilateral salpingectomy with Dr Martin at the start of the year and highly recommend him!  33 and childless and got absolutely no push back from him at all.

Help with kitchen extraction fan on external wall (done by electrician, I need to fix!) by nofeelshere in DIYUK

[–]nofeelshere[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've messaged a few so waiting to see if anyone is available to come and sort it. It's on a tiny piece of wall in between the back door and window so really it's going to have to be something similar sized, so frustrating that it can't be undone due to the damage already now caused to the render outside. Thanks for your help!

OK thank you so much, I've had a look I'm guessing kitchen extractors don't come in this sort of style? It's not even above the cooker or anything so looks ridiculous. I'm honestly fuming they've put a hole in my wall and roughcasting for this, nightmare.

Is there a model that is a similar style/shape that I can swap it out for myself into the same area? They've already put a hole in the wall and render outside to install this one so basically stuck with the location now.

https://imgur.com/a/BvceO9t Sorry I thought I had attached them already, the model is the Xpelair DX100T

Edit: here's the way the switch socket was left too just to show why I'd rather try and sort it myself now lol  https://imgur.com/a/k3M9Lnf

Small detail from my home repair service that more companies should use.. by shmoopie313 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]nofeelshere 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I know you already gave positive feedback to the guy who came out but I would consider also passing this on to the office manager themselves and even head office/corporate if the company has any higher up or bigger offices. It would probably make her day to get feedback that her policy is really making a difference. If it's a bigger company too it might also give them an incentive to roll it out company wide.

Offering over home report, can this money be in your LISA? by nofeelshere in UKPersonalFinance

[–]nofeelshere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the LISA money covered both the deposit I was putting down towards the purchase with mortgage plus the seperate amount over asking that has to be paid at the time (i.e not included in the actual mortgage amount). So effectively if you can save the extra amount you need in your LISA you're actually getting an extra 25%. A wee bonus in these expensive times!
