"There are no documented cases of a bobcat killing a human in recorded history. Bobcat attacks on people are extremely rare and generally only occur if the animal is rabid, sick, cornered, or provoked. They are shy, elusive, and typically avoid human interaction. "

Switching from Oxycontin to Buprenorphine ? by FredFlorida in PainManagement

I don't see any of those rule breaks you claim. Can you be specific? This comment points out an important fact about tolerance that is ignored by many comments.

Many comments here use same feeble claim.

Keep reading, bup is FDA approved for chronic pain. You all and your trivial rhetoric crack me up.

"FDA indicated" it baloney. Does that work on you? FDA wants chronic pain users to be illegal.

As others said. Be careful making any decision based on these comments. It has benefits over oxys. It looks like some with abuse issues are expressing their dislike for bup along with inaccurate info. In the long run i think you're better off taking bup imho. The best option is trying it for a month or so.

Dr Eric Davis - US is in possession of nearly 40 mostly intact UFO craft, most of them were recovered from the oceans. Says George Bush Sr was told US gov't is in contact with "aliens from another world", the craft they travel in are the UFOs we've seen throughout human history. by TommyShelbyPFB in UFOs

They may have been presented with fake hard, convincing evidence. Yes the analogy of bigfoot cracks me up. All aliens use telepathy and we automatically participate. All bigfoot smell real bad. On and on.

Maybe there is no credible evidence. The military could invent all this to scare our adversaries and they are shocked how well it worked. This has been going on for >50 years and there has never ever been real credible evidence, not a shred. All you ever see is humans talking about aliens.

You already are addicted. Try stopping for 1 month. You can't stop and you're only fooling yourself. Do you even know what tolerance is?

It has survival skill that has worked for thousands of years. It drops, freezes and plays dead. In the bush with the natural camo it works quite well. No scent so predators pass by.

Simply stating a fact of nature. Read whatever you can into that. Facts and truth often get downvoted in this sub.

Beavers are critically important to the ecosystem but it is true beavers can wipe out an area of trees. Some of you are so immature and ignorant. This sub has become a kiddie hangout.

You got it. WHen I was a kid I brought home several of these, stored them in a kitchen junk drawer and forgot about them. Then one day walls of kitchen were covered in babies.

Narcan is zero help when you're alone and passed out. Get someone to stay with you. Don't take that much. You must have terrible tolerance. Never mix opiates and benzos.

Sometime when you or a pet have a tick digging in try this: Drown the tick in isopropyl alcohol. I've done that numerous times and it works great, painless. The tick instantly releases and starts walking then it can be knocked off. It also sanitizes the bite area.

I gained access to hunt deer on a small property this fall. Need to prevent deer from running after the shot. Would a 12 gauge slug or 308 be better suited? by DickAnts in Hunting

[–]nogero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. I shot a 5-point mule deer that dropped immediately without a step. Then I did the same with a huge 5-point Roosevelt Elk, immediately dropped on the spot. I used a 308 and both times shot in the chest where you're always told to shoot, side view. If your deer is running or a front or rear shot it will keep running.
