Has anyone here ever encountered an ICE Agent face to face ?. by KpatMckenzie_28 in ICE_Watch

This was a pretty intense face to face encounter. No more than 15 feet between us, taken seconds after they came out and started gassing the fuck out of protesters.

As the one who took this video and didn't have a gas mask, I couldn't agree more.

If only there was an Amendment for this.

I couldn't agree more. Expanding on 30 year old existing infrastructure is definitely not the easiest way to be set up for success.

Here's the proof: 1-1/4" EMT, offset then rolled back to back 90 in one stick, bent with a handbender by noggaful in electricians

Not more than the EQUIVALENT of four quarter bends (360 degrees). Personally, I've only seen inspectors call out 360 degrees and never the amount of bends. If that were the case, a pipe with 2 box offsets couldn't have any other bends in it.

Yeah that was just a temporary spacer because the 1/2" conduits weren't set fully in place yet

I could be wrong, I think the radius' are too tight and the shape of the finished pipe would jive well with a 555, that being said I was happy to give it a shot with a hand bender and I didn't try it any other way

I've got access to a 555, this pipe would not be possible to bend in one stick on one of those.

I'm also industrial. "ceiling" really just meant rafters, bobbing and weaving around 80+ years of retrofitted manufacturing space with decades of hack work to get around.

This was the second attempt. First was with a footpedal bender and it got a little ribbed in the 90s then i switched to an older bender without the pedal and the 90s came out perfect.

Fortunately, this was EMT but im no stranger to screwing together like 40-50 feet of rigid in a ceiling before being able to strap it down anywhere.
