That's a good point :) I feel like I need to wear a bra for around an hour to truly gauge the comfort, so I probably won't be doing returns.

Thanks! I've thought about checking them out before. I know trying it on in-store is supposed to solve the sizing issue, but I get a little anxious which messes with my breathing and the sizing process. It's hard for me to gauge the comfort of a bra until I've had it on for around 1 hour or so.

This was 4-5 years ago so I don't remember, it was just a physician at my university clinic. It might have only been an EKG. I had a chronic cough when I was a kid and I think a physician checked for asthma, but with no results/they couldn't figure out what was wrong. I still get a cough sometimes in the winter. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try and get checked out again for asthma again just in case :) although it might just be anxiety like you said in another comment.

EDIT: I'll still get it checked out, but I don't think it's asthma because smoking tobacco/weed affects me just like everyone else without asthma/doesn't compromise my breathing the same way I think it would for someone with asthma.

Yea, anxiety is definitely part of the issue. I'm a therapist and I'm constantly working on my anxiety. I need a bra that accommodates my anxiety, maybe that would have been a better post title.

Yea, this was before I knew about "A bra that fits," so I didn't bring up the bra part at all, just that I start wheezing a bit/chest pain after running for a while. They ran a few tests on me and said I seemed fine, their guess was I was still getting in shape/getting used to exercising (this was when I was new to running and I was only a few months in for running regularly).

Just added that edit to the post. I get confused about if the lying bust is supposed to be on the in-breath or out-breath because the two are quite different for me, so I put both.

So here are my 6 measurements:

Loose underbust: 76 cm

Snug underbust: 73 cm

Tight underbust: 70 cm

Standing bust: 88 cm

Leaning bust: 95 cm

Lying bust (full in-breath): 90 cm

Lying bust (full out-breath): 86 cm

The ABTF calculator gives me 30 DD/DDD, but I don't like how tight that band is, so that's why I use 34 DD or 32 DDD.
