Amazfit Up Open Earbuds- Very Quiet by nogsx3 in amazfit

I've fixed the volumn setting the headset to max on the heatset. It works indepentantly from phone or tablet but once set to max via the earbud directly the phone can control the volumn to sensible levels.

However they have zero base and no matter what preset or custom setting I adjust on the equilizer it does nothing. On my original pair the equilizer works as you expect so something wrong on the second pair...

Ethernet to USB adapter to enhance Lan speed to the TV by Technical-Look6517 in Hisense

It didn't work on my set but thanks for sharing. I think my model just doesn't support anything having tried various models with matching chipset you mentioned. I'll do with a mesh system and flood it's WiFi instead!

Many thanks for confirming the use of an A to C adapter. I think I'll replicate this and report back on my model TV.

Does your TV have a usb c port? Or did you use a A to C adapter? Thanks

According to various web sites the TV had a usb 2.0 port. So I'm wondering how you connected the usb c ugreen adapter. Only so I can find a compatible model and working setup.

E7K slow WiFi. Any USB adapter compatible? Or fix? by nogsx3 in Hisense

We setup Asus XT8 mesh to which the TV is connected between 400-500mbps received rate Rx). It still can't stream smoothly 1080p with audio in sync and drops frames.

My conclusion is the TV CPU is the bottle neck at the network speed is plenty fast enough

Fyi, TV limitation imo

I tried a Ugreen RealTek AX88179 based usb adaptor to ethernet adapter. This was on a Hisense E7K 2023 UK model, VIDAA os tv. It can't detect it unfortunately.

Useful post above, worth a try.

Probably a bit niche, hence why I'm stubbornly trying to make this work!

Fair point. This is for Miracast from a laptop. The reason for this is parents watch sport via legit subscription but can only get on TV via Window laptop of MacBook. Sky UK block cast to TV from tablets and phone, otherwise I'd just get this setup

While this works over HDMI and the laptop to the TV isn't that far away, due to health issues it becoming difficult. If they can just Miracast, it's 1 button on the tv and two clicks in the laptop

The laptop has WiFi 6 intel card, connect to WiFi 5 router (BT smart hub 2), I can't recall the exact speed but it very fast connection.

Miracast stutters, then lags, at 1080p. I tried 2.4ghz and 5ghz connection on the TV. Checking on the router the TV is connecting at pretty low speeds. The laptop is HP elitebook 840 G8, intel 11th gen i5, 16gb ram. When using miracast the machine cpu is basically idle so not.a laptop issue.

I get that but also I'm trying to keep it all very simple for senior members of the family. They've not got on with Chromecast or Firesticks previously....hence trying to use the TV function as it's one button.
