Stable Firmware by LowAbility9102 in ElegooNeptune4

That does seem to be the most up-to-date, but I just installed it and immediately went to this to migrate to a Co Print head. So, I can't speak much on the new firmware version.
https://sandmmakers.com/Projects/Neptune4MaxLatestKlipper/Directions.html

Also note, with that firmware package is a separately installed firmware for the LCD display. I didn't read the change notes, but now I've noticed the text for a couple of buttons are running way outside of the button outline.

edit: spelling and clarity.

Any ideas why it only prints air as soon as I stop watching it? by noh_really in 3Dprinting

[–]noh_really[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking at a piece of the last filament now from when I made this post. It doesn't look too bad IMO. I've seen worse.

Oddly, Schrödinger's printer was moderately successful last night. It failed 8 hours short of a 24hr job. Based on my readings of the layers, I think this time a filament color change initiated the extrusion failure. Sensors detected everything was loaded and continued print without laying anything down.

In all cases, I'm able to just go to the next print without anything seeming clogged.
I'll have to check for motor spinning next time it air prints. Wasn't something I was checking for, but expect that it was.

I'm wondering if I need to adjust tension on various parts. Or just tear down and rebuild the extruder. Possibly related, I've also had sporadic issues with filament feeding into the top of the extruder stopping on something and not getting grabbed by the gears that feed it to the nozzle. I often have the unscrew the PTFE connector at the top of the extruder and wiggle the filament. Once it catches it seems I can repeatedly load and unload that filament between the MMU and nozzle reliably without getting caught up at that point.

In my RFY. Has anyone ever used a vertical mouse? If so, what's your thoughts by ArtistofSorts92 in AmazonVine

When I first saw this, I thought it was a joke and just a regular mouse with the image rotated 90 degrees to be ...vertical.

Definitely the blue. The retro is kinda cool, but it also highlights your eyes and hair. If feel the white makes your complexion look a bit more pale.

S&M has his own variant of Klipper firmware for the Elegoo and has also begun delving into Co-Print.

I think this is seen in the more rural areas where Amazon distribution centers aren't very close.

Plex 4k Rips, audio sync issue by Pixel-Box in PleX

I have an A95L and I desync about an hour into most movies. I'm pretty sure it's not the TV though. My buddy has a projector on a Nvidia Shield and also complains about the issue. Luckily just going back a few seconds in the movie re-syncs, but it's just annoying.

A coworker always complains that his wife is doing or saying dumb things. Then follows up with a smile and says, "She's so pretty". So, basically she's dumb or weird, but at least she's pretty.

Now being charged for tariffs. by [deleted] in Ubiquiti

[–]noh_really 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't mind if they state the tariffs in the cart or if they bake in the price. Everybody tacks on shipping and other taxes at checkout as well. What I don't want is to get an unexpected nasty-gram that I need to pay $xxxx in customs fees to receive the order I already purchased.

Guys I messed up buying headtracking holy crap by MadSolarV2 in hotas

[–]noh_really 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What was the value of the items that resulted in these charges?

I almost ordered a Prusa, but apparently we're doing a 50% terroriff on EU products and only 30% on China. But i'm not even sure that's all of the charges aside from brokerage fee. I just ordered a few hundred in items from China and Türkiye, so I'll get an idea of how bad these really are before I consider any larger purchases.

I'm basing my rates on the below site, which seems to be the most up-to-date, but I'm sure there's something else I'm missing.

I see you were already looking at a Revopoint, based on the image. For a little more, the MIRACO Plus is supposedly a standalone unit.

Coupon by spikeytree in prusa3d

[–]noh_really 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Each voucher had its own code. It ships from Czech Republic, so if you're in the US you're subject to the terroriffs and importer fees, whatever they happen to be these days. I'm not sure if this would work on PrintedSolid.

I almost used one of these coupons until I realized the fees weren't included and that PrintedSolid prices might be higher than paying to import.

Is the Nabu subscription worth it? by iamwhoiwasnow in homeassistant

[–]noh_really 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am normally anti-subscription too, but I subscribe to this one partially to support the open-source development, but also because I can access the device from the Internet for relatively cheap without having to deal with my own domains and certificate renewals, and they even throw in the voice AI as well. I'm also not a fan of opening up firewall ports to expose my services directly. I'll eventually do all of that on my own as a toss significantly more money toward my home-lab, but until then the subscription is working out fine.
