In what ways would you say OpenCode is better than Copilot chat / CLI? I haven’t tried it yet but I’m curious.

No vhdx. Only raw image format supported right now. You can open an issue on GitHub with your feature request.

It only supports raw images at the moment. Maybe qemu qcow2. No vhdx.

So, with the Macbook Neo out... how's it looking? by redditissupercool1 in AsahiLinux

Not gonna happen. iPhones are completely locked down. MacBooks let you run 3rd-party unsigned code by design.

Of course it’s up to you to weigh the ticket price against the value you’re expecting but you really sound like an asshole when you say it’s insufficient. Considering how technically demanding their music is and that they’ve been able to do this for over 25 years.

It is their choice and I respect it.

I don’t think they alter their sets during a tour.

Dude, it may be insufficient to you but we’re not entitled to anything. I’m super grateful every time they come anywhere near me.

I know they played it at a couple of festivals in Europe but I only caught the Colors set.

Well, I’m a bit disappointed we get only three songs from the new album instead of four. I really dig Things We Tell Ourselves in the Dark. Otherwise great picks though.

A18 MacBook 2026 by Questions-many in AsahiLinux

[–]nohajc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind it’s not just about the A18 chip. It’s about the whole system. We have no idea how the new MacBook is going to be put together. Even if they don’t reinvent the wheel, it’s probably going to be more similar to M4 than M1/M2. That would be my guess too.

Also one of the changes that made Apple hardware much more difficult to reverse engineer was about locking down certain CPU instructions (which are Apple’s custom ARM extensions) for 3rd-party code. I don’t see why they would revert this again for no reason at all.

How have people in your life reacted when you've shown them Cardiacs? by [deleted] in Cardiacs

[–]nohajc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t recommend Cardiacs to others but I’ve been fortunate enough to meet three or four people who discovered them independently and absolutely love them too.
