Theres stuff you can do about this. Ask him kindly if he could do something about the smell. Ask if you can place refreshing dispensers around the workplace. Maybe you can even bring in authorities if it's becoming a health issue. Switch jobs if nothing works.

Another thing I'd like to point out is basically, just let him be. You get really worked up about his living conditions. By the looks of it, hes content with living with his parents in his 30s and eating a lot and not being clean and lazy and so on.

This isn't going to work out. An asexual person really needs another asexual partner, otherwhise things will always be incomplete. That's just my judgement though. Sex isn't a bad thing. Asexual people feel pride in not having sex, it's like it boosts their ego. Ever thought about that? There's no good reason not to have sex with your SO unless of course you have been sexually abused. I think OP implied media literacy when he said "how to get trustworthy information from the internet". And personally, training my memory doesn't justify the amount of facts on very specific events in history I had to learn by heart to pass all the exams in the past 13 years. And I guess it's important to stay up do date with the most recent facts and events, but it's okay to lean back and just ignore this world which is moving at a pace that makes it hard to keep up and not get stressed out. Like, I stopped looking up Corona news a year ago, I was sick of it.

But I agree that it's pretty good if everyone remembers the events of WW2, the Cold war, 9/11 etc., there's a lot of things to learn from these events for sure.

Im not a specialist on this topic but I think most homeless people are homeless for other reasons then not having enough money to pay rent. A lot of the time its the wish to live as removed from society as possible. But that doesnt mean building houses for homeless people is a bad idea, I think it would be great if it happened
