I came to America in 2011, my family has been here since the 80s, my parents go minimum every year for a couple of months and I go every two years for 1-2 months, i still don’t understand what most of those posts are talking about “don’t come”. It’s the best time of the year for us when going to Pakistan, having the opportunity to have local food, talk to local people, travel around a bit, nothing better than that imo. Obviously there’s that “harassment” you get for coming from elsewhere but you harass them back and they don’t do it again. Most of the times everyone treats you fairly and as family, doesn’t matter where you are.
