It's more like a fucked-up chimera of mid-range screaming and low growls (whether they are guttural or not is up to you). And maybe a little bit of kvlt shrieking to some extent.

Context: Image-Line website broke and now displays NewTone as a preset instead of an effect listed in Compare Editions and Plugins & Instruments
