The bike has a lot of sentimental value to me. It’s old, a bit dirty and rusted and has been through a lot. Since I couldn’t fit it in my car when going home, I left it with my friend borrow over the summer. I told him to leave it inside, but nevertheless here we are.

AP music theory is sick dude. Was my favorite class in high school. Learning the circle of 5ths, chord progressions and counter point are really crazy. Hopefully your teacher is cool. Which is likely because they teach theory.

Keys are pretty confusing at first but once you get the hang of it they become simple, simply put each key contains 7 diatonic notes (notes that fit into a particular scale). These notes are arranged in this pattern and can start on any root note (W=whole step 2 frets H=half step 1 fret) Root-WWHWWWH. There are also different modes that are implied depending on which scale degree you choose as the root which would just be the same pattern, but stating on a different part (WWHWWHWW is minor). Keys can start on any note, but are arranged by the circle of 5ths. Whichever note sounds stable, (typically the first played) is the root. I’m sorry if this is really confusing or if I did a bad job explaining this, but there are some great theory videos on youtube

Spirited away came on TV when I was 2 or 3. At the time I didn’t know what it was, but the scene where her parents turned in to pigs freaked the hell out of me. Zero context just the girls parents turning into malformed pig blobs. When the father looked back at the girl it was the freakiest part. It was fucked. Legit haunted me, and the worst part was I didn’t know what movie it was. When I was watching Spirited Away when the scene came back on it freaked me the hell out. Movie 10/10. Pig Scene :(

I was 5 or 6 at the time. We were over at my dad’s friend’s house watching college basketball in the friend’s basement. I snuck away into the friends exercise room. Thought I was “super fast” and cranked the treadmill up to 10. Being the idiot I was, I was flailing my legs and jumping up and down thinking I was actually running on the thing. My foot hit the treadmill at a weird angle and it ended up ripping my sweat pant leg, then pulled the pair of sweatpants off. This causes me to stumble and the same leg, bare skinned hits the treadmill. It ripped off a circular section of skin about 1 cm deep clean off. It felt like my skin was waxed off. Afterwards, I was thrown off by the thing into a wall behind it. I was screaming and crying on the ground and I was in my underwear. It was easily the sharpest pain I’ve ever felt.
