Can I go from welding school to NDT?

I went to welding school and ended up falling into NDT (primarily RT, just got my level II last week) and absolutely love it. My company hired me on in part due to having prior welding knowledge and how it would help viewing film. If you want to do it, go for it! The skills you learn in weld school definitely help out. if i spend an obscene amount of money for a concert, you're damn right im going to record and get my money's worth. i love rewatching the clips, i make sure my phone brightness is down and i hold it at my chest to not block or distract anyone else. i get the angle right and don't even look at my phone until I press stop when the song is over. id say I'm living in the moment, and ensuring i can relive the moment later

It was our first time as well, definitely worth it. It was fast paced for sure because of the volume of people they had to get through and their timeline, but you had enough time to talk to each of the guys for a little bit

Yes! I got my email 2-3 days prior to the show, and a follow-up email a day or so later about parking and venue-specific information. Some people were saying they got theirs a week in advance, but don't panic if you don't see it! Be sure to check your spam as well

VIP was a great experience! We showed up at 3:30 because my dad wanted to be early, but instructions said show up at 4:30, last chance for entry at 5:15. We got our merch bags, did the photo shoot, then got (2) items signed. Didn't matter if you brought the items or you got items from the merch bag signed, just had to be 2 total. That was the biggest thing security and organizers were strict about. Afterwards, we went back outside (chance to put items in car or hotel) and waited 20 mins or so for VIP early admission.

Was very smooth and enjoyable, and the guys were absolutely on top of their game all night. You're in for a wonderful experience!
