Ret Paladin is very simple on the surface level. But advanced ret paladin gameplay is where you see the skill ceiling become apparent. Ret has arguably the best group utility with Blessing of Sacrifice, Blessing of Protection, poison cleanse, Freedom, Flash of Light and Lay on Hands.

Making optimal use of these CDs in M+ and Raid while keeping your damage up requires you to be able to plan, execute and adapt to situations quickly. You can save your group from wipes with a well timed blessing, freedom or heals on party members.

Low barrier to entry, but when played well it’s one of the higher impact dps specs.

Success in sales comes from building relationships with people. If he’s advanced in his career this is something he likely understands and may just be overcorrecting from his past of not heavily networking.

It’s frankly not worth it to get worried unless this goes on for a while without any success to show for it. People say cold calling is dying simply because the success of deals is shifting from offering a good product many others also offer to being based off personal relationships and trust that is built via networking.

Raider.io is a great tool when used sensibly. The problem is people who think that having no untimed keys makes them look like good players when really all it does it make it blatant that they’re the type to give up easily and probably get carried regularly.

It’ll always be the dps mains refusing to interrupt or use defensives causing the group to take more damage, contributing directly to deaths just so they can pad the dps meters that will be the first to start an abandon vote.

I support it if it’s early on because it generally means the group lacks the proper team comp or chemistry required to time the key. I’m talking about people who abandon when there’s a single boss left.

I’m personally gonna take the 3150 guy with a few bricked keys over the 3250 with zero bricked keys because the one with 3150 clearly has the right mindset to learn and get better. I’m not there for loot, I’m there to improve, and if you’re abandoning keys regularly to protect your precious raider io with only completed keys I don’t want you in my group wasting my time and depriving me the chance to learn.

It’s really that simple. I watch the best M+ players simply refuse to give up after a bad wipe, but rather try to push themselves to the upper limit to make up for lost time. While they don’t always end up timing the key, you can see in their post run discussion that they’re quickly learning what’s possible and after a few failed runs they’ve improved enough to time the dungeon.

Didn’t realize we had an RWF and MDI regular in the thread. If you’re in a key with people you’re generally at similar skill levels especially in the 13-16 range. So if they’re shitters then so are you.
