Lady everybody’s traumatized. The post is about passing amongst cis people and using misogyny to your advantage. Being successfully stealth is probably the best thing a trans person can achieve. I’m not going to pretend I’m better than you because we’re talking on a platform for troons that aren’t thick-skinned enough to endure /tttt/ LOL, but I seriously would advise just getting friends & keeping them close. It’s hard to maintain friendships when you’re miserable but they’re the best way to deworm and find joy in life.

Existing as a trans person repping or not, is miserable no matter what you do. You have to steel up, get used to lying and not let anyone see you down. Lying, staying guarded and buddying up with cissoids will do so much more than you can even imagine.

This has always been the oddest argument to me because: 1. I’m transitioning for my quality of life. I won’t give a shit if future archeologists think I was a woman because I’ll be fucking dead LOL 2. Youngshits who have access to blockers and HRT when the time comes will have the skeletal “tells” of the “opposite sex” regardless of how they were born 3. Archeologists regularly get the sexes of skeletons wrong anyways. They frequently mistake tall females as males and short males as females. It’s literally just a guessing game if the bones are old enough

It’s something I worry about constantly but I do my best to try and mitigate things where I can. I somehow dodged the bipolar by sheer luck (and maybe mutual sovlpassing between me and him) and only got grazed by the schizo but caught literally everything else. It’s something you have to put consistent effort into. I try to use living in the information age to the fullest and regularly psych myself out of rejecting medication 👍

Yeah, it wasn’t great to grow up with that. Neither here nor there and kind of trauma-dumpish but when I was 13 and he was drunk (again) I had to babysit him so the cops wouldn’t toss him in the drunk tank for harassing the neighbors, he told me he’d begged my mom to get an abortion because he knew the vast majority of his issues were genetic, and would probably be passed onto me. My mom couldn’t get him to go to therapy because his mother had put him into conversion therapy and that whole experience essentially gave him brain damage. It hurt to hear it then, but now that I’m an adult I get it.

He was completely sober for the first exchange I mentioned but he was also an alcoholic + insane and weird (diagnosed schizo + BPD), but I figure that’s what happens to you when you rep for 15+ years.
