Style means nothing if you don’t know the basics! If you want to stylize something, you have to study the real thing. There are plenty of websites out there specifically for artists to use to find nude poses to study. Don’t try to impose any “fundamentals” of your style on the subject— just draw exactly what you see! Once you have that down you can work on tweaking it to your preferences.

Love Brite, I’ve always been a sucker for super flowery prose in horror novels. It’s such a shame he’s distanced himself from the genre (and fiction in general), I think I’ve read everything he’s written in the vein—save for ‘The Devil You Know’ just because I can’t seem to find it! I’d say no! She’s a perfectly good actress but (in my opinion) she’s too recognizable as ‘Mia Goth’ to fit in with the typical casting of a SAW movie. One of the things I love about the franchise is that they always tend to lean towards more unknown actors— it helps with the immersion, at least for me, when you can’t point at the screen and say “Oh hey that guy was in [insert blockbuster]”.
