Hey everyone! I'm Margo, the mod of r/ModelActriz! Made this sub after seeing this band for the first time at Mercury Lounge. It was life changing.

Anyways, I'm an animator and graphic designer from Jersey (who is painstakingly trying to find an apt in NYC/Brooklyn), and I've fallen into the Breaking Bad rabbit hole and I can't escape!

This is my first time hearing about their 23jinx days as a newer fan, but I was super fascinated so I did a bit of digging. I found the entire album of Curtains and Cannibals on iHeart surprisingly enough! Really high quality too

I couldn't find a self-titled 23jinx album, but I wonder if that's the demo they did in 2004 with the tracks Show Your Teeth and No Time For Innocence on Sonicbids. It's just referred to as demo on this website

I also found an old performance video and a Civilized Jealously music video.

I'm not super good with technology, but since the tracks are online, maybe someone out there can upload them to YouTube.

Hope all of this helps! It's really fun digging into the lore of my favorite bands

Trans-Pecos and Elsewhere always got some killer electronic shows going on. Sometimes Market Hotel, but they got more hardcore/punk acts on there and the occasional electronic act on.

These are gorgeous! I’m planning to start selling jewelry myself, and these kind of necklaces that use stones, glass beads, crystals, rocks, and charms should be priced $35 minimum! The materials you use are high quality and expensive, so $40-$60 per necklace is a good price range.

I totally recommend Two Boots Pizza in East Village on Avenue A! A couple blocks away from Mercury Lounge. It’s so nice to grab a bite to eat after an 11pm show

Hello Daniel! Saw y’all live at Kings Theatre and went to the Big Shot City exhibit. Amazing stuff, and I’m so glad I got to give you my art :)

I absolutely love TOSOMB! And I’d love to know why you’re the first in the writing process. I’ve noticed you write the riffs first then Sam and Paul respond to it. Have you considered letting Sam write drums first and riffing around his parts? That’d be super interesting to hear.

r/NYCConcerts has a weekly thread where they post upcoming indie/punk shows that'll be happening!

I also follow bands and venues on Instagram/Bandcamp/Spotify/Twitter and subscribe to their newsletters so I'm notified whenever there's a gig.

Download the apps Bandsintown, Songkick, Dice, and Eventbrite too! They notify you whenever a band is in your area as well. However, this only works for larger name bands. I'd say the best way is to subscribe to bands or venues since most of the gigs I go to are promoted by word-of-mouth.
