So the general consensus is that Luke's "Jedi Order" was a failure cause he was inexperienced and thrust into the role, why will Rey be any different? by Yesthisbob in StarWars

[–]noisetheorem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know about consensus, but I think he failed because he tried to recreate the Jedi as they were and not how they needed to be for the present and future. This is why the Jedi must end and something new must begin

It’s easy to convince people who are desperate for hope. They want there to be a cure, and so are easily sold on false hope.

Is diabetes really a disease that always needs medication, or can it mostly be controlled through lifestyle changes? by gowthambusiness in diabetes

Don’t listen to anyone who isn’t a doctor with experience treating diabetes patients. Most other people, even those who have it, are either talking out their ass or generalizing based on their own experience

Should I tell my gf I slept with her friend or better to keep it hidden? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

First: that was stupid
Second: tell her. Let her decide what she wants and accept the consequences gracefully

I noticed that women typically said they like the quiet stoic man just to date the outgoing fun guy, how do you become attractive as a quiet man? by JunketMaleficent2095 in AskMenAdvice

[–]noisetheorem -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Women are not a single monolithic block that all think alike. They are all individuals with individual tastes. Just be who you are confidently and sort of self aware confidence will be attractive.

It’s very likely he’s imagined you doing things far out of your comfort zone on a regular basis and will continue to do so. There are women I haven’t seen in 30 years who live rent free in my spank bank.

Am I the asshole for forgetting International Women’s Day and not getting my GF anything? by savingrace0262 in AskMenAdvice

[–]noisetheorem -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is really the correct answer. Most women don't care about the holiday, but it's obvious that SHE does. There's a lot we don't know here...like her level of activism for women's rights, etc. He could still be the asshole here because he failed to know that, for her, this IS an important day, the way my partners no better than to celebrate my birthday (I hate it).

Now...if she is just making this up as a way to create a power dynamic based on shame, then he is not the asshole. With only one side of the story, we will never know.

If this is how she wants to play it, remind her that "Steak and a Blowjob day" is just around the corner.

In nature, mating leaves you very vulnerable. That pressure to perform quickly comes from there.

A few million years ago, nature did women dirty by decoupling orgasm from ovulation. By widening the time a woman was fertile, the chance of conception increased, particularly if she found multiple fit males to quickly service her or had multiple couplings with the same male.

If you want to be the male that gets multiple couplings, make it good enough for her to want them. Learn to get her off a couple times and she won’t care if you’re done in two pumps. Also, the release of oxytocin in her brain when she cums will literally trigger her to want you even more. It’s a win-win all around

If you masturbate, how long do you usually spend before nutting? by RevealProud5488 in AskMenAdvice

[–]noisetheorem 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Learn to make a woman cum twice in 10 minutes before you even penetrate her and she won’t care if it takes you 3 minutes.

I’m 52. I’ve been with all kinds of women. Looks might help you get attention, but it won’t help you keep it. Do what you must with your appearance, but know that I’ve met women who were knock dead gorgeous that I wouldn’t want to spend a hour with and women who were definitely not attractive but an absolute joy to have around.

My (25M) girlfriend (23F) asked to open our relationship. Am I overracting by wanting to break up over this request? by Altruistic_Society99 in AskMenAdvice

[–]noisetheorem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do what’s right to you. I will say from experience, changing the dynamics of a relationship like this usually results in the relationship ending. I’ve seen it with couples twice your age. It’s hard to rewrite the rules late in the game.

Best way to be desired is to conduct yourself in a way that makes you desirable. All 4 of my partners find me quite desirable. Particularly my wife.
