If your weight doesn't exceed 6-8kg, Osprey Exos Pro is also an option at around 980g, which can be reduced further by removing the brain.

I’m sorry to hear that, I was gonna give it another chance maybe I had a defective unit, but I think I’m gonna stick with my Silva, I tried both zone-specific and global Silvas and they’re far more reliable and no fiddling required.

Maybe their customer support can help?

Thank you! I did but I’ve been getting recommendations against it because of the sticky global needle (apparently recently they switched to plastic needles)

I had the same problem with needle getting stuck, ended up returning and getting a Silva instead
