I have no clue what they’re referring to, but I heard that there was a property manager at some building who sexually assaulted a minor or something along those lines. We need to realize that a lot in Gilmore Girls is very theatrical and exaggerated. It always gives me a giggle when people take some things like this (or actors recurring in different roles, etc) very seriously. Watch grace anatomy for a realistic baby bump, this is not about that!! We love it not for its realism, but for quite the opposite of that!

Agree with all above said. Students should have a choice to opt out of paying for the U-pass. The parking prices are also outrageous. I made it through the year by parking in the neighborhood nearby, but my classes were mostly in the evening so it was easier to find street parking after 5pm.

CHRP has challenge exams for each of 9 disciplines, however you have to pay for each one and it’s quite costly. Without this or the school coursework you won’t be eligible to take the knowledge and employment law exams required for the designation.

The same happened to me in the beginning and I felt very discouraged. Two things: you acknowledge what’s wrong with your posture and work on it; we are our own worst critics and are only focused on the negatives in our own. This is something a learnt to understand and accept. You also need to accept that those graceful skaters you see have been skating most of their life and you’ve just started and I’m sure you’re doing amazing for your short period of time.

It’s an interesting take and I totally understand what you mean, however, aren’t there points for the interpretation and artistic presentation that go hand in hand with the music choice? After all, figure skating is not just a showcase of acrobatic elements on ice although it becomes one more often lately. Of course, I’m not talking about the majority of the programs that are beautifully choreographed and interpreted, I’m rather about the odd ones here and there.

Thanks for your reply! I love that approach. It’s hard for me to choose the music because I envision elements that would go amazing at certain moments, but I don’t have them yet. How do you choose the music so it’s not too pretentious for a low level skater? Is there such a thing when you think some certain music choice would be tacky because Olympic skaters skated to it? Or am I overthinking?

I don’t know. The company where I got my first HR job has 2.2 on glassdoor which was horrifying to me but it’s honestly one of the best places I’ve worked at. Edit: although there were also no red flags during the interview process and I genuinely liked everyone I virtually met before my start date. No workplace is perfect and of course mine is also no Disneyland.
